Do NOT reserve or go here! The one star to give this place is too much actually. We showed up at this address and there is no office, reception or anything like regular normal hotels have. A cleaning lady told us in broken English that we have to call a reservation number, which we tried and there was disconnected number sound on the other end. We tried a few times. Since it was hot, humid and we were tired we just strolled 2 blocks and got a room in a different hotel. We believe 13 Akacfa utca hotel doesn't even exist, they just took my money. What a shame!!!

The place is clean, cosy and very close to various restaurants. I spent one day and night there and loved it.

The apartment was nice and the location is central BUT the entire building smelled like weed. In the corridor and even in our room we have smelled it all time. I didn't plan to get high on weed passively while I am staying...

Well, I cannot complain too much about the apartment itself and the stay until....
We were assaulted, and yes I know it may happen everywhere, and you may say to be more attentive. Well, when you leave the apartment for 5 minutes to go to the reception and book your airport transfer at 22:00, leaving your belongings and this happens, well, not the best experience. I guess I might be grateful as they left my ID documents for me to go back home, which means professionals were working. I dont think this was a coincidence.
Thanks god Im back home and definetely never again, not the place, not the city.
P.S. I heard this happening in other hotels as well. A way of life to some people...

Burgers were ok but service was worse than terrible they got our order wrong. The girls behind the counter were very rude to us and then started screaming at the chef, they were more interested in flirting with a drunken stag party than serving the tables.

I have a pet peeve when burger restaurants grill the cheese from a cheese-burger on the flat top and throw that on the burger. When I order a cheese-burger I want the cheese melted on top of the patty like 99% of places on earth. Ok it might be your idea of being modern, but ask beforehand because then the cheese gets super greasy and crispy and caramelized on some points and is totally raw in the centre. If they cooked the burger properly that would have helped but the patty was overcooked and dry, the bun was alright and the fries were ok. Not coming back... plenty of competition in town.

We had four burgers and they were all OK and reasonably well cooked. The chairs and table were horribly unstable and should have been replaced years ago. A bit shabby interior. Service was OK although not super attentive.

Avoid this place. Everything was burned - Hamburger meat and chicken wings completely. They serve only hamburgers and wings so it is very rediculous they dont know how to make it right.
