My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Four Seasons Gresham Palace in Budapest, and the experience was absolutely exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the grandeur of the building and the elegance of the Art Nouveau architecture. The hotel perfectly combines historical charm with modern luxury.
Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the quality of the bedding to the refined marble bathroom. The views over the Danube and the Chain Bridge added a truly magical touch to our stay.
Service throughout the hotel was flawless. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our visit special. Breakfast was also outstanding, offering a wide selection of high-quality options in a stunning setting.

I booked afternoon tea at the Four Seasons as a birthday treat for partner and friend, I made a confirmed midweek reservation. On arrival, we were met by a staff member who was abrupt and informed us that afternoon tea is not served on weekdays, despite our booking having been accepted. Staff member confirmed booking issues.
It was a complete waste of time and deeply disappointing, particularly given the reputation of the establishment. The service fell well below what one would reasonably expect. In future, I will return to The Savoy, where standards and attention to detail are consistently upheld.

We had an amazing time at the 4 Seasons in Budapest. Hotel very good - it was busy due to Christmas, but still quiet and always available for residents. Spa was excellent and we were the only people in the pool which was lovely and relaxing. In terms of location - perfect for site-seeing of Buda and Pest. Looking onto the river and near all transporation. Christmas markets interesting and safe. Would recommend hotel for a fantastic and special stay and Budapest for a weekend trip.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. Anastasia at the front desk was particularly welcoming, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our conversations with her and her insights. While this is clearly a luxury hotel, what really stood out was the genuine hospitality from every member of the staff. You can tell they are proud to work here and they sincerely want to take care of you — it’s not an act, like other places. They enjoy their line and place of work immensely, it seems.

The rooms booked by Ctrip are always in the worst locations, and the hotel will not change this status even if there are many vacancies. What's more terrible is that for the same price, you can get a good location through ***********. I don't understand. This time, two different rooms, with the same price, were booked through different companies, and the result was like this. Ctrip should think: why?

The service is very poor. The waiter opens the door directly, affecting sleep and sense of security.

I upgraded to a tower suite at the front desk. The location is very convenient and the view from the room is beautiful. The interior of the room is a bit old, and the bathroom is at the door and you have to go down a few stairs from the bedroom, which is weird.

Really amazing hotel. Rooms and building it self is awesome. Staff well trained, good wellness area with amazing wardrobe. Restaurant is very good, very good value for money. Breakfast is great with good food selection. But it would be nice if the room would be expensier and they would not charge extras on breakfast. The only bed thing was coffee, it was really bed. Evening cocktail were amazing great service and great snacks, live music, worth all the money. On Saturday was my birthday and they prepared three cakes for me, up on arrival, breakfast and evening. The best of the best was concierge service, they provide as tickets for opera where no body else could, they reserve restaurant New York cafe where no body else could get us reservation. They were really amazing.
