Tisza Balneum Thermal Hotel

Northern Great Plain, Tiszafured, Huszoles u. 27 🧭

Tisza lake shore 80 m

A great spot to spend relaxing, quality time with the family. Amazing, professional, friendly staff and waiters, clean rooms, generous buffet for breakfast and lunch, and a wide variety of recreational activities that will keep you busy for a while. We will certainly be going back. Highly recommended!

Nice calm place, souranded by pretty nature and beautifull river Tisza. Great service, fantastic food... all well prepared...

We spent a wonderful weekend at the Balneum Hotel in Tiszafüred with our family of five (two adults and three children), and we enjoyed every moment. The weekend had a traditional Hungarian pig-slaughter theme with fun and well-organized programs such as sausage making, meat processing, and themed dishes. We stayed in a spacious and comfortable lakeside apartment with a beautiful view of the frozen...

We had a lovely time at the Hotel and The setting is beautiful by the River Tisza. The Spa facilities are excellent, there are many different pools both inside and outside as well with cool and warm thermal options. There is sauna, steam room and cold water dipping pool too. We used the pool table and foosball table. There is table tennis and darts to play too. It is a child and dog friendly place...

the hotel's location is good, the spa was excellent, the food was delicious with a wide variety of dishes, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. There was an issue with the conditioner, so it was hot in the room, the staff said it is a problem with the conditioners in the whole hotel

Second time here! Good vibes, chilling atmosphere, big rooms are there with a perfect look to the lake. Rooms are nice and well equipped, but some small reparation would be necessary. Kitchen is just fantastic. Wellness area has a bright offer of services. If you are looking for a fare-prized hotel, very good food and no expectations for perfect conditions, you should be here!

A great stay. And the food? Congratulations to the chefs! Delicious! And so much of it! Something different every day, always something super tasty. The food is an absolute plus. Delicious freshly ground coffee, with a choice of cold or hot milk, almond or soy. With white or brown sugar and sweetener. The bread and croissants disappeared quickly because they were the best. Okay, as for the food, it...

The key feature of this hotel is the thermal pools. They are well maintained. There are four pools of varying temperature. One is cool. Another is pleasantly warm and has an inside and outside section. These pools do not appear to be mineral spas. The other two small pools are high in mineral content and high in temperature. They say to limit your dip to 20 minutes. Outside there is a generous lawn...

With dinner and hot springs, what else do you need a bicycle for?

Good food, kind personnel, relatively good wellness-area, quite a lot of parking places, included into the room-booking price. When fully booked, the wellness-area can get rather crowded - but to my experience, the mornings as well as the evenings are still OK.

The customer is very satisfied. Very good.

I can’t say so much about the spa area etc. The restaurant is good, nice choice for vegetarian as well. Big plus in the morning, oat, soy and coconut milk is available! The room could be bit more…modern.

Veronika Hotel

Northern Great Plain, Tiszaujvaros, Szederkv Nyi Vot 1 A 🧭

Nice hotel, very close to Mol worksite. Nice staff, good restaurant.

I stay in this hotel as part of my work (up until now for 4 weeks). I think that it is a very nice hotel with very kind workers. I sometimes get to the hotel very late, and there is always someone at the reception. The rooms are cleaned every day, and the soap is refilled. There is coffee, tea, and a hot water heater in the room. I was never out of toilet paper, and the degree of it is satisfactory...

Cozy and clean rooms, little stocked mini bar for a 4-star hotel. For the poorly stocked breakfast. Overall rating good but not excellent.

What a wonderful discovery this was. We visited Tiszaújváros because we wanted to spend a couple of days soaking in the excellent medicinal thermal waters here - so we were very pleasantly surprised to discover such a great hotel that made our stay super special. The staff were helpful and friendly, accommodating both an early check-in and late check-out (thanks to availability) and the rooms were...

A great hotel for visit a supplier in the area, Fast check in, even if we arrived earlier than normal check in time. Room was clean, and area was nice for taking an afternoon walk. Bed was supergood, and I slept with no problems. We stayed in the Hotel for the dinner, wish was good...but best was the staff in the bar that was up for some small talk. Breakfast, have all that that is needed.

We had a wonderful week at Tisia Hotel in June. The room was spacious and perfect for our needs, especially since we have a child with a physical disability. While we needed to hire a hoist to lift her, the room had plenty of space to keep it beside the bed. The hoist was easy to use, and the bed was super comfortable for her. Plus, the restaurant was a real highlight, offering delicious breakfast...

Nice hotel with a nice spa area connected. Good room, decent size with a normal bed. Many different pools with different temperatures, was not crowded and was ok. Buffet dinner which was quite good. Normal breakfast. Parking just by hotel.

Superb hote! The staff was very nice. Each night there was different food, all of it was delicios. I highly recommend!

Great place to spend a short holiday!

Hotel Cascade Resort & Spa

Northern Great Plain, Demjen, Hrsz. 083/65, 3395 Demjen, Hevesh, Vengriya 🧭

The breakfast and dinner buffet is amazing, many choices and different every day. Nice location with great views. We went to the place by bus. The bus station is just outside. The outside pools were ok. The caves were relaxing, although the water was not very warm the day we went.

Hotel as a hotel us good. Staff is very nice. But termal pool is public, so everyone from outside can come and bath. Cave bath is paid extra!

Spacious, well equipped rooms which provide you with everything you'd need for some relaxation (jacuzzi, infrared sauna inside the suite). The hotel, the rooms and the restaurant are all crystal clean, not mentioning the variety and deliciousness of the food. The wellness area is nice to spend an afternoon in, having the opportunity to participate in some sauna seances, too. You can reach the neighbouring...

Nice design of the hotel, a bit too dark and depressive. The whole are including the cave spa is depressive and undermaintained. Food was really good

We were there from Monday till Wednesday, the hotel was pretty empty. The overall feeling was good, it was worth the price. The food selection wasn't so extensive but they were tasty. The hotel wellness was cosy, we really liked the sauna and the cold plunge but we missed a jacuzzi. There's an outside hot bath with thermal water which is really nice and it is open until 2am, we went there on the first...

I was there in the middle of the week for two nights with my partner. The experience was positive, the room was modern and enough comfortable, food is nice, the level of service is almost always good. The internal spa area is cozy, with all what is necessary to have a relaxing afternoon; in our case the last afternoon was ruined by a group of ladies who were partying in the spa, without being recalled...

Hunguest Saliris

Northern Great Plain, Egerszalok, 6 Forrás utca 🧭

Great rooms, great pools, great food, great service!!!!! Cannot give enough praise! We loved every second there and wish we could have stayed longer. We visited in March. Reachable by bus or taxis for those without a car.

Health spa and thermal pools are wonderful. Great front desk staff at check-in and checkout (Gyula)

Disappointing Experience at Saliris Resort Spa in Egerszalók When I first saw the pictures of the Saliris Resort Spa in Egerszalók, I was truly impressed. The stunning visuals and the unique salt hill formation made me believe this would be a top-tier spa experience. With such high expectations—and especially considering the 10,800 HUF entrance fee—I assumed everything would be well-maintained and...

Very relaxing break at this establishment. The rooms (not sure about the glass doors to the toilet facilities though!!) were very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The spa/wellness facilities were very good with different levels of heat/minerals in the pools. It was described as having 17 pools, but in reality it less but larger pools are sectioned, but this of course is not an issue....

Very nice and clean hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. The room was clean. The food was delicious. The wellness is big and clean. The kids really liked the pools. There were children's programs almost all day. Nice and calm environment.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We were satisfied with everything, except for the fact that the treadmill didn't function in the gym. The spa with the outdoor pools is exceptional, the view of the salt hill is breathtaking. Staff could smile more, but they are polite and helpful. Great place for relaxing and for going on excursions in the nearby mountains.

Matyus Udvarhaz Kengyel Fogado Eger

Northern Great Plain, Eger, Eged-hegyi Lovastanya, 3300 Eger, Hevesh, Vengriya 🧭

Adorable place, good food, very good service ( especially the man).

A rustic rural ranch type of place..if you like the horse life then you're in for a treat.

We are happily notify you, that is a "Spuné approved" place

Good localisation and really nice area.

More than the rooms and the food, the complex is simply stunning! It is a complex of horse training and restoration of old carriages. Everything here is pastorally quiet and full of animals. Children will love to be here. The prices are cheap and reasonable. The rooms are air conditioned and clean but simple.

I was here about 25 years ago when I was a couple of years old. It was good, it was calm, but without the introduction of other programs it would be boring for me to spend more than 3 days here, but nevertheless it is a very good place!

Imola Hotel Platan

Northern Great Plain, Eger, Csakany utca 7, 3300 Eger, Hevesh, Vengriya 🧭

The sanitation is very good, the breakfast is good, and the service communication is basically no problem. Bring a swimsuit to enjoy the sauna in the hotel. The address is between the train station and the old town, and there are almost no shops around. There is no kettle in the room, so if you are thirsty, you can only go to the hotel bar to solve it. It should be noted that the check-out time is...

Outstanding boutique adult only hotel with private balconies, great breakfast, large gym, and a lovely spa. I enjoyed my 2 nights here while taking a trip up from Budapest for the weekend in November 2024. The corner room with the private sauna on the balcony was absolutely perfect. Very comfortable Hotel, nice breakfast with friendly hosts. Will come again.

Overall impression of the hotel is good. Spacious rooms and common areas, service was excellent, rooms nicely designed, big shower. The only thing I am not used to was the air conditioning. Excellent Hotel. Everything was great. Very clean hotel. Room was so clean—excellent breakfast and dinner buffet. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

Spotless and staff were brilliant and the spa amazing but the food very basic and just okay

Very updated and clean room. Breakfast and dinner buffe style food has plenty of options for everybody. Friendly staff.

We stayed at the Flora Hotel before the renovation and were very pleased with everything. But now it's fantastic. The food is excellent, and the saunas and cleanless, The connection to the thermal baths is fantastic. The room is spacious and the bathroom is very comfortable. We recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back again. Thank you very much for a truly enjoyable stay. Andrzej L. Poland

Aqua Eger

Northern Great Plain, Eger, 9 Maklári út 🧭

We hilly recommend this hotel it is very clean the staff is very helpful and the food is amazing. We had a very nice room, and it is very near to the center of the city

Clean spacious room. Very good breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend. Close to Eger center too.

It is a very nice place to stay in Eger. Very close to the city center and also to the Turkish spa. However, they serve only the breakfast, no lunch or dinner (even if they offer this on booking).

This was a great vacation. We were located quite in the centre, could park the car and the trailer which was essential. It was quiet and the rooms were freshly renewed. That and the fair price is what we liked. I like the quietness there - that is often so in Hungary. The only thing we missed was a climate system, but that is more than can be expected at such prices. We certainly come back again!

A very quaint and charming place located in walking distance to the city centre. The place is clean and breakfast was always good with a good choice of food.Staff was friendly and accommodating. Well done 👏 will definitely recommend it to my friends.

An excellent hotel with excellent decoration both in the common areas and in the rooms. Spacious and super comfortable rooms. The super friendly staff, always concerned, asking if everything is ok. The food was excellent(dinner and breakfast) and with fast service. Nothing to point to an experience to repeat. I recommend

Great place for staying and eat in Eger.

We had the most wonderful accommodation so far, with divine food, super nice staff. Thank you for everything, we will definitely be returning guests. ☺️

We had a great time at the hotel. The hotel is on the floor of the restaurant. The restaurant prepares very delicious food as well as a good large portion. The service is fast, the waiters are nice. The place is cozy, spacious, clean. If you are coming with a larger family or company, it is worth booking in advance because there is almost always a full house. We went with a big family, we were accommodated...

Unique experience to try ... poor breakfast brand new rooms .. it is inside the park

Delicious food, kind staff, medieval design, music and clothes, good price-value, huge portions, beautiful environment, good location. Have to visit if you are in Eger. Booking a table recommended.

Spent here around 3 months during a business trip. Everything is great, rooms are very clean and the host is very flexible. I can only say a big Thank you and definitely recommend to anyone visiting Eger. All the best!

Extremely slow and with a million questions asked in the check-in process, there was no one there when we came (15:30h), had to call and wait for 20 minutes for them to come. Great lady working both as a chef and cleaning staff. The rooms are nice and clean. One room was very cold as the gas heating wasn't working, until the next day when that sweet lady helped.

The location is the best and at the same time it is not noisy. The room has nice design, but some maintenance needs. The breakfast was poor, I would recommend to book without breakfast. The service was really nice.

Location close to the centre, a friendly man in the receptuon who catered for the guests really much. He also provided us with a car park that at first wasn’t available so it was a nice surprise for us to get a spot just in front of the building and we really appreciated it. Hotel Unicornis

Northern Great Plain, Eger, Dr. Hibay Károly Utca 2 🧭

They are kind and professional. I offer them.

The hotel has a decent breakfast with enough variety to start the day, and the location is very convenient, near the city centre, making it easy to get around and visit nearby attractions.

Very uncomfortable... The room was clean, spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The TV and remote control were awful; there was no channel list, the remote worked intermittently, and the TV screen was tiny. The mattress was extremely thin, and there was no slatted frame, just a solid board – unacceptable and completely uncomfortable.

The Unicorn is the hotel of choice. It's in a great location for walking around the city. The exterior of the hotel seems to have been renovated, so it was a bit different from the interior, but there was a breakfast buffet and it was a comfortable stay.

I booked 6 rooms, we came to Eger with 12 people for a team building. The rooms were quite old, retro / old school. The rooms were clean. The hotel was in the city center, easily accessible. The staff was nice, check-in was quick and easy. The spa department was very bad: the jacuzzi fell apart and the jacuzzi water was dirty and sandy. For many of us, the breakfast was also disgusting, several day...

The food and dining experience in general was the best part about this hotel. The quality of the rooms should be brought up to the quality of the restaurant. But everything was fine the staff is kind and energetic in general.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I had a single room. It's small but enough for my needs. The room is nice and very clean. I like it that they have standards for their cleaning. A beautiful and well organized hotel, located a few meters away from the medieval fortress. Everyone at the hotel was nice and ready to help. We also liked the garage that can accommodate about 10 cars.

We went back to Eger after 20 years and this was our first time to stay at Imola hotel. Great location with the option for underground car parking for fees. We got room number 2 which was located on the first floor with a balcony to view on the castle. The room is not huge but includes a small fridge with drinks and sweets. Short walk distance almost everywhere. Absolutely lovely food at Macok bistro...

This is a lovely location with parking for guests (for an extra charge). Quite a bargain and a lovely place.

I recently stayed at the hotel for one night and had the pleasure of staying in a rooftop apartment.
