the hotel's location is good, the spa was excellent, the food was delicious with a wide variety of dishes, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. There was an issue with the conditioner, so it was hot in the room, the staff said it is a problem with the conditioners in the whole hotel

Lovely location and very pleasant Hotel accommodation. Travelled from the U.K. we were totally satisfied with the room, restaurant, spa facilities, and above all else the cleanliness of the place. We would certainly recommend this as a holiday destination for relaxation and outdoor activities.

Everything was perfect. The food was excellent, like the view from the room. The hotel have a great wellness with sauna, outer thermal and massage. Also have billiard, pingpong, and fitness room. The room has very clean, nice and so big and the view of the Tisza-to.

We were in the hotel for several days. It is in a very nice place. The room was comfortable. The diners were varied. We had real hospitality. We used several services in the wellness area. The beautician lady has golden hands. I can only recommend it to everyone.

The key feature of this hotel is the thermal pools. They are well maintained. There are four pools of varying temperature. One is cool. Another is pleasantly warm and has an inside and outside section. These pools do not appear to be mineral spas. The other two small pools are high in mineral content and high in temperature. Good food, kind personnel, relatively good wellness-area, quite a lot of parking places, included into the room-booking price. When fully booked, the wellness-area can get rather crowded - but to my experience, the mornings as well as the evenings are still OK.

A great hotel for visit a supplier in the area, Fast check in, even if we arrived earlier than normal check in time. Room was clean, and area was nice for taking an afternoon walk. The breakfast and dinner buffet is amazing, many choices and different every day. Nice location with great views. We went to the place by bus. The bus station is just outside. The outside pools were ok. The caves were relaxing, although the water was not very warm the day we went.

Very relaxing break at this establishment. The rooms (not sure about the glass doors to the toilet facilities though!!) were very clean and the staff were extremely helpful. The spa/wellness facilities were very good with different levels of heat/minerals in the pools. It was described as having 17 pools, but in reality it less but larger pools are sectioned, but this of course is not an issue....

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. We were satisfied with everything, except for the fact that the treadmill didn't function in the gym. The spa with the outdoor pools is exceptional, the view of the salt hill is breathtaking. Staff could smile more, but they are polite and helpful. More than the rooms and the food, the complex is simply stunning! It is a complex of horse training and restoration of old carriages. Everything here is pastorally quiet and full of animals. Children will love to be here. The prices are cheap and reasonable. The rooms are air conditioned and clean but simple.

It is a very nice place to stay in Eger. Very close to the city center and also to the Turkish spa. However, they serve only the breakfast, no lunch or dinner (even if they offer this on booking).

This was a great vacation. We were located quite in the centre, could park the car and the trailer which was essential. It was quiet and the rooms were freshly renewed. That and the fair price is what we liked. I like the quietness there - that is often so in Hungary. The only thing we missed was a climate system, but that is more than can be expected at such prices. We certainly come back again!

Extremely slow and with a million questions asked in the check-in process, there was no one there when we came (15:30h), had to call and wait for 20 minutes for them to come. Great lady working both as a chef and cleaning staff. The rooms are nice and clean. One room was very cold as the gas heating wasn't working, until the next day when that sweet lady helped.

The hotel has a decent breakfast with enough variety to start the day, and the location is very convenient, near the city centre, making it easy to get around and visit nearby attractions.

Very uncomfortable... The room was clean, spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The TV and remote control were awful; there was no channel list, the remote worked intermittently, and the TV screen was tiny. The mattress was extremely thin, and there was no slatted frame, just a solid board – unacceptable and completely uncomfortable.

The Unicorn is the hotel of choice. It's in a great location for walking around the city. The exterior of the hotel seems to have been renovated, so it was a bit different from the interior, but there was a breakfast buffet and it was a comfortable stay.

We stayed here for two nights while wine tasting in Eger. What a lovely spot. We had a nice little apartment (room 6 - although not so great for my husband who is 6’5” because we were on the top floor and the ceilings slanted. Glad he survived.).
