The breakfast and dinner buffet is amazing, many choices and different every day. Nice location with great views. We went to the place by bus. The bus station is just outside. The outside pools were ok. The caves were relaxing, although the water was not very warm the day we went.

This is not a four star place, it is less than 2 .If you planning to blow 200k HUF for a wellness weekend , try Hotel Kapitány or visit Tokaj. Basically this place need a major change in terms of everything .Staff is hopelessly undernumbered, at breakfast if you arrive 1 hour after breakfast starts, there is no food left. 1 coffee machine , that's it .You wait in line for 20 minutes. Dinnertime......we asked for plate, fork, spoon...... sorry but it's a shame......

My visit to this place instead of being a relaxing one it turned to be one of the worst experiences I had in Hungary. I left with no clothes, my clothes were stolen when I hanged them front of the shower room. I had to wear my BF shirt, they didn’t offer me any clothes there. Also, my BF towel and bath rope was stolen in the same day.
Workers there didn’t help us much, they just asked to write our complaint and send email, but since one month and half we didn’t hear back, no answer no reply no compensation, nothing.
I’ve been to a lot of thermal spas around the country, even more crowded and popular than this one, but it’s been always safe.
So, take extra care of your belongings and stuff there.

We spent 3 days at around New Years Eve in this hotel. Average in the rooms, the food. Staff is rare, you have to wait 20-30 mins for a drink at the bar for example. The neighbouring thermal bath is for an extra fee, not included in the price. Plus you have to walk there in your nightrobe or your normal clothes and get changed there. Not convenient at all. It was full house but no entertainment for the kids. For adults, one humorist and for New Years Eve some entertainment. But the advertised DJ music in a separate room, which was advertised, did not happen. We chose this hotel for that reason… Extremely overpriced for what you get.

Hotel as a hotel us good. Staff is very nice. But termal pool is public, so everyone from outside can come and bath. Cave bath is paid extra!

Spacious, well equipped rooms which provide you with everything you'd need for some relaxation (jacuzzi, infrared sauna inside the suite). The hotel, the rooms and the restaurant are all crystal clean, not mentioning the variety and deliciousness of the food. The wellness area is nice to spend an afternoon in, having the opportunity to participate in some sauna seances, too. You can reach the neighbouring hot water pools with a short walk directly from the hotel, and you can also reach the Cave Bath quickly. The hotel is built on a hill, with a pleasant view from the suite, and at night if the weather is nice, the starry sky is spectacular as well due to low light pollution. The staff was very kind and polite, you could turn to them with nearly anything. The reservation was a breeze through the phone, we had the honour to speak with Kinga Bajzát to make our booking, and we were treated professionally and nicely. We'd recommend the hotel to anyone who is searching for a pleasant place to unwind and have some recreation.

Upon arrival the staff were immediately rather unpleasant, we arrived at 1.30 pm and there was no way to check in before 2 pm. We don't know what could change for them... Then we realized that the Hotel's SPA is a miserable little pool, the actual SPA is 300 meters from the Hotel and is not the property of the Hotel, so in addition to having to do it on foot with 2 C in winter, you also have to pay it. In the evening we realized that the room was infested with cockroaches (they came from a hole in the false ceiling). After repeated discussions, they accused us of having left the window open, which is why there were cockroaches (as if with 2C there were cockroaches on the terrace!!!) they moved us to another room, obviously of a lower category. You also have to pay attention to the rush hour for showering, otherwise, you risk running out of water in the room (it happened to me). The bottom line is just not worth it, go somewhere else.

This place was disappointing. Rude staff. They don’t want to speak English or at least try to. Dirty pools. Really poor for the price that we paid… “The cave baths” are not real caves as we originally thought. They are small and there is not much to do.

Nice design of the hotel, a bit too dark and depressive. The whole are including the cave spa is depressive and undermaintained.

We were there from Monday till Wednesday, the hotel was pretty empty. The overall feeling was good, it was worth the price. The food selection wasn't so extensive but they were tasty. The hotel wellness was cosy, we really liked the sauna and the cold plunge but we missed a jacuzzi. There's an outside hot bath with thermal water which is really nice and it is open until 2am, we went there on the first night after the dinner. The cave bath is a must to try, especially if you like the slides. Unfortunately some of its services weren't working because it was a weekday and it was really empty too.
The hotel room was tastefully designed and clean, the bed was comfortable, the sound insulation could have been better.
Half of the staff in the hotel were brand new due to the covid related closures, and they didn't really know how to handle particular situations, also they seemed a bit rude. The other half was really kind and helpful.
