Hotel Cascade Resort & Spa in Demjen

The breakfast and dinner buffet is amazing, many choices and different every day. Nice location with great views. We went to the place by bus. The bus station is just outside. The outside pools were ok. The caves were relaxing, although the water was not very warm the day we went.

Hotel as a hotel us good. Staff is very nice. But termal pool is public, so everyone from outside can come and bath. Cave bath is paid extra!

Spacious, well equipped rooms which provide you with everything you'd need for some relaxation (jacuzzi, infrared sauna inside the suite). The hotel, the rooms and the restaurant are all crystal clean, not mentioning the variety and deliciousness of the food. The wellness area is nice to spend an afternoon in, having the opportunity to participate in some sauna seances, too. You can reach the neighbouring hot water pools with a short walk directly from the hotel, and you can also reach the Cave Bath quickly. The hotel is built on a hill, with a pleasant view from the suite, and at night if the weather is nice, the starry sky is spectacular as well due to low light pollution. The staff was very kind and polite, you could turn to them with nearly anything. The reservation was a breeze through the phone, we had the honour to speak with Kinga Bajzát to make our booking, and we were treated professionally and nicely. We'd recommend the hotel to anyone who is searching for a pleasant place to unwind and have some recreation.

We were there from Monday till Wednesday, the hotel was pretty empty. The overall feeling was good, it was worth the price. The food selection wasn't so extensive but they were tasty. The hotel wellness was cosy, we really liked the sauna and the cold plunge but we missed a jacuzzi. There's an outside hot bath with thermal water which is really nice and it is open until 2am, we went there on the first night after the dinner. The cave bath is a must to try, especially if you like the slides. Unfortunately some of its services weren't working because it was a weekday and it was really empty too.
The hotel room was tastefully designed and clean, the bed was comfortable, the sound insulation could have been better.
Half of the staff in the hotel were brand new due to the covid related closures, and they didn't really know how to handle particular situations, also they seemed a bit rude. The other half was really kind and helpful.
