Shiraz Hotel in Egerszalók is the perfect place to hide away with someone you love. The entire atmosphere surrounds you with a beautifully executed Moroccan theme that appeals to all your senses, with a unique design crafted down to the smallest details.
The spa area offers excellent massage programs and intensive sauna sessions, just make sure to book your massages in advance, as they are in high demand. In the evenings, you can enjoy a shisha and/or a drink while listening to live music, which creates a truly relaxing mood. There are several room types to choose from, each suited to different preferences, and the staff is consistently kind, helpful, and attentive.
If you step outside for a few hours, the surroundings are peaceful and perfect for a walk or hike, and one of Hungary’s best wineries, St. Andrea, is only a few minutes away on foot.
This is our sixth stay, and we already look forward to the next one.
Our favourite times to visit are late autumn, when we start longing for warmth, and April-May, when the outdoor pool bar opens and the Hungarian spring feels as lovely as a Swedish summer.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, atmospheric, and memorable getaway.

The place looks really nice, you can feel that it well thought and quality material used. But.
There are few things that gave me sore tongue for example: if I pay this much money on a hotel i expect things to be in the price.. but no.. i had to pay 500huf to just oay one round of air hockey.. like come on...
The other thing what really bothered me is the hookas seance... There were plenty of mistake made(I'm a daily user) the charcoal not properly heated.. the foil no properly installed. -- Just to give feedback how to use.
If you use self heating charcoal you have zo wait for the outlaxer to burd down and and whole goes gray. Install the foil properly dont let any air goes in from the side. And use minimum 1,5 quantity not just 1. (Best if you ditch it and use natural cube charcoal).
Plus there were live piano which is great but because of that we can't hear each other even when we sat next to each other.
So to summarize the place looks nice. The Staff are okay.
The food is 7/10--» don't expect culinary trip to Middle east
The room are fantastic.

Spent a weekend here in the Romantic Suite recently. Everything was really good; the atmosphere, the staff, the rooms, the food, the wellness. This is how it should be for a really good hotel. We will definetely come back for more :)

Good dishes the service great. I love swallows and the hotel respects their nests(a huge plus to the management) but somehow they need to figure out how we live together. The balcony full of... guess what.

Price range should be much lower.The quality of the services is way too low compared to the price. Wellness area acceptable for what it is. Food was really good, but the staff wasn't properly educated on how to behave in an exclusive Hotel. I can see that during Covid the quality staff has been removed, or only quit by themself and they have been replaced with students or low experienced people. I don't think anyone should choose this Hotel over the competition at this price.

Very respectful, helpful staff. Nice rooms and hotel services, and the SPA, although small, but really relaxing and well-maintained.

It was an awesome experience. Unique in Hungary not just as design but as staff behaviour too.
Everyone is extremely nice and friendly, funny too.
The spa is amazing and the rooms the hole building.
It's clean and confy, good sound proof and quality room.
Food is very good too, tasty and plenty of choices. Drinks... So many and good cocktails, very good combinations.
Breakfast is the same good as the dinner and lunch.
Two things we didn't like, that's why the 4 stars:
- after you order anything, you don't get to sign the bill or get a copy of it! I really like my copy
-at the spa, for such a big hotel, there are not enough chilling beds, and people go there to sleep even for 2 hours, nobody will ask why u don't sleep in your one room as other people would like to use those confortabile beds.
Other wise it was so so so nice, and many thanks to all staff, they are awesome. Good job.

What a lovely moment we had here.

Authentic, friendly, and cozy hotel with a decent wellness area with great services. Could use some refurbishment but nothing aweful. Food is alright but not especially good. Loved the hookah, the wine selection is superb with a lot of local items, and the staff is very friendly.
With the recent developments in the area I'm not sure I'd return next time but there is no reason not to visit.
