Couldn’t get into the property no code given to enter called over 30 times had to find alternative accommodation and still waiting for a refund that they won’t give. Do not book this terrible hotel

Room was nice and clean. Surrounding countryside was amazing. All automated hotel- didn't see staff until morning during breakfast. Received code for entry in email in advance. I liked the location- north of Vik and close to Skogafoss (sp?)

The property is beautiful and extremely clean. The room we were in had a double bed and a king size bed. They were very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great. We enjoyed the hot tub. The breakfast was much better than we expected! They had eggs and bacon and many types of pastries and cereal! Excellent stay in a quiet and convenient place. Close to Vik but far enough away to get quiet. A great place to see Northern Lights - but it was too cloudy for us to see any.

There is literally no one there and is very scary to be there alone feels like a ******* house

Rooms were very spacious and well equipped/decorated. A continental breakfast was served 8-10am which was lovely and the staff were very helpful too. The hot tub was a cherry on top.

Absolutely terrible hotel! A truly awful experience!

The manager, a middle-aged white man, was extremely unfriendly and discriminatory towards Chinese people. He displayed deep disdain in every interaction.

Check-in was remote; he wouldn't answer the phone, no matter how many times I called, only replying to an email.

I couldn't get a refund when I tried, and he wouldn't answer calls or reply to emails.

The shower water was constantly changing – hot, cold, high pressure, low pressure.

Don't book this hotel!

The hotel had a self-check-in system, and contacting staff to get the room code was very difficult. However, the hotel environment was very nice.

Practically impossible check in. If it wasn’t for the wonderful house keeper we would have never gotten checked in and would have had to sleep on the lobbies couch. Called countless times to no avail for someone to give a code to check in. No phone anywhere in the facilities. The hot tub actually had algae in it. The room was VERY small. (Watch your head) Only saving grace was a comfy bed and a nice breakfast spread. Would not recommend.

Very cozy place and the staff was friendly. I do believe they have something wrong with the drains. They didn’t drain well and they emitted a noxious smell. The room was quite nice but there was a lot of sand on the floor so it was pretty gritty.

Never got in touch with staff… couldn’t access room, no response from the staff even a week after our trip.
