I also liked the surroundings with Reykjadalur, The Geothermal Park and several cafes and restaurants, grocery store and gas station nearby. We ate at The Greenhouse, which was easy and good.
I was surprised how clean, modern and nice this hotel was.
Spacious rooms, spotless clean, with super friendly staff.
Location wise its in the middle of nowhere (or so it seemed to me), but there are beautiful views around.
