Had such a great stay at the garage, super scenic spot. The room was just perfect and it was quite a treat to arrive to fresh baked banana bread and chocolate cake the day we arrived. The owner was very accommodating and there to answer any questions. My boys, ages 11 and 13 were able to explore the property up to the waterfall behind the home which was an extra special treat. Especially when her dogs followed us along the trail I think that made their day. We even got to take advantage of the hot tub after our day of hiking. Looking back I would have booked 2 nights here as we really loved it and could have easily stayed 2 days and done some of our tours venturing out from there. .

Convenient location, the room is facing the sea, the view is great
The room is very clean and has simple kitchen supplies for use.
Before check-in, I was informed that there were no restaurants nearby and the room rate did not include breakfast.
So we prepared some food before check-in, which can be cooked in the room
I was lucky enough to see the Northern Lights on my first night. I could see them as soon as I opened the door.
The owner has two sheepdogs, they are very active and friendly
This accommodation is recommended.

A warm and cozy Nordic-style house. We arrived late and the landlord left a note to inform us of the specific room. The surrounding environment is also very good, with water in front and mountains and waterfalls behind. The landlord's dog is also very fun and will come over to play with you. Unfortunately, the weather was bad on the day we were there. It was stormy at night and it was still raining in the morning. If it's a sunny day, it must be a great place.

I highly recommend choosing a garage apartment for your independent trip to Iceland. Not only is the location excellent, but the overall accommodation quality is superb. The host even thoughtfully provides homemade pastries for guests. Highly recommended!

All is good. The mountain and waterfalls view was so nice and picturesque. Room is spacious. And i like the kitchen area too.there is a door to access back yard.Its just the kitchen hood light not functioning and the mirror is too high for short people like me. But that is just a small issue for me. Owner also very nice person and i feel welcoming to their place.
