Reviews
Stayed at Hella Kanslarinn during our Ring Road trip and it was a great stopover spot. The view from the property is okay during the day; we could spot the northern lights from our window at night. it is really peaceful depsite being placed in the main road of Hella whcih makes it perfect to get a good night’s rest between drives. Room is extremely clean and well organized. The room incl . bathroom are spacious with all you need (kettle, mugs, boiler, etc.). The staff is really nice and the breakfast felt fresh with the right variety and options for a 2 star hotel. there are options also to check in outside the main hours , just contact the reception. highly recommend for the extremely high quality /price ratio.
We did find the room quite warm and had to open the large picture window wide all night to manage the temperature.
The staff were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was included in our room. We had a lovely simple buffet breakfast before heading out on our day of sightseeing. There were two kinds of eggs, bacon, beans, three kinds of bread and multiple yogurt and cereal options.
Would recommend if looking for a place to stay in Hella.
