We stayed in one of the rooms with the private hot tubs. The room was very spacious and well laid out. The rooms were very clean and so was the hotel.
The only thing was the shower is the room wasn’t working at its best, only the one showerhead was working.
The food was good. In the area there isn’t a lot so you have to drive.
Overall though the hotel was very peaceful and relaxing.
They also had great recommendations for tours!
The price of the room included a breakfast in the morning, which consisted of a fair amount of different varieties of food outside the standard fare of cereals and breads.
The hotel also features an on site bistro located on the main floor of the hotel. We had lunch there one day and the food was surprisingly good!
All in all, for the amount we paid for the room, I thought it was a good experience and great value (for Iceland). Both the hotel and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you ever find yourself in Hella Iceland in the future.
