My boyfriend and I booked this place last minute. Price and location were both good. We were a little concerned when we saw multiple negative reviews. However, our stay was wonderful! The room was clean, some noise from other rooms were noted but nothing after around 2100. We had a direct view into the city center which was great for people watching. Would recommend this place for anyone looking in the area.

Very central hotel, decent room and bathroom. No information from the hotel before the stay regarding the door code.

The room was beautiful and cozy. We ended up in a bad situation and the owners let me stay in a room after we had already checked out until the situation was over. They did their best to help even though they didn't have to. They were really kind and helpful. The location was also a big plus and they watch out for your security.

Central location, very clean, warm and functional. Although it was small ( but we knew it from the booking), it was lacked nothing!

Good communication with people in charge of the place. Good location. Nice bed and comfortable room. Nexpresso machine at the room with 4 capsules. Heater also in the room so temperature was quite nice. Clean and silence. The only improvement? Price!, but this Iceland !

A small room with tiny bathroom but really clean and perfectly adequate for a one night stay. The guesthouse was very clean.

This guesthouse is conveniently located in the city of Akureyri. Self check-in/check-out was easy enough. There is nearby parking, restaurants, giftshop and convenience store.

However, the bathroom was cramped and the showerhead was dirty. I wasn't able to get the heater going inside the room either so it was pretty cold during the night and the next morning. They should do a better job maintaining the grounds. The area near the back entrance had litter all over the floor, also when I looked on the patio on the second floor there was an ashtray with over a hundred cigarette butts inside. I probably wouldn't come back here.

Great location, at city center. The problem was that the room is tiny, there was a weird smell at the bathroom, the sink was leaking and the shower door fell when we moved it to get into the shower. The Wifi did not work, we complained to the manager with no solution. Not recommended
