Íslendingar, þetta hótel og veitingastaður er hágæða perla. We´re an Icelandic couple, and went to hotel Siglunes for a tiny romantic vacation. I can't recommend it enough. The Moroccan restaurant is outstanding, food is so tasty, exotic for our Icelandic taste buds. It's also very beautiful, peaceful, with a great atmosphere. The room was beautiful, great bed with a wonderful mattress, Duvets provided, which us Icelanders love. But there was also a blanket, and good windows to let fresh air in, which is wonderful if people are used to sleeping in cold rooms. The atmosphere in the hotel is vintage, at the same time as everything (furniture, the house itself, and decorations) are in perfect condition. Hotel Siglunes team, thank you very much for the lovely stay.

Hotel itself is a robust, dull building. The less expensive rooms (top floor) are small, have shared toilet/bathroom and can be quite hot. Beds were good though, we slept very well. The Maroccan restaurant downstairs is very popular and provides a nice change to the Icelandic kitchen.

Never again, very small room, terrible bed, tiny WC and shower. No one was in sight for check in, had to look for someone. The only people we saw where the serving girls in the restaurant and a couple of guests. Food in restaurant was good.

Very nice rooms and stylish decor.

Only downside is the parking lot is very muddy and should be paved so you don’t have to pull your bags through muck. Breakfast should be included like most other hotels.

We had a deluxe room and it was excellent! The room is beautifully furnished and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is ideally located and the staff was both competent and nice.

The room was spacious, and has everything you need.The property has its own restaurant. It's walking distance to grocery, stores and other restaurants. There's a hottub in the property.

The Moroccan restaurant was awesome. Nice , clean and quiet place to get much needed rest.

This hotel is in a good location and easy to walk from to explore. There’s a small park with a trampoline right beside it, which my 7 yr old son loved. We had a room for 4 people. It was dated, with a small, not very private bathroom. The room didn’t have the best air circulation or light, with small windows. When we went to check in there was no one at the front desk and it took a little time to find someone. The small hot tub for the property is nice, although to access it you have to either go through the restaurant or out the front door and around the building.

Wonderful town
The town was great, and the vibe at the hotel was wonderful. Quiet, probably understaffed, but helpful. The room was old but plenty clean and was wonderful to find this sort of large family room in peak season.
