Reviews
Very clean modern rooms, with a great view of the mountains and the sea. Lots of parking and a short walk to the beach. There's isn't much to do around except horse riding, also the dinner is not served very late so bring food for late night snacks. Staff are friendly, bathrooms are shared
The view on the beach and the cleanliness of the facilities is very appealing. With one restaurant and the option to take a room in the guesthouse make this campsite a hidden treasure.
I camped here in July 2017, so I can't speak to what the rooms inside are like. The place is mostly set up for the guesthouse, so there were only 2 or 3 tents the night I was there. They also have some cabins, which share the bathroom and shower facilities with the campers.
The spot to camp was great. We were right on the beach with our own picnic table, which is pretty rare in Iceland. Lots of privacy and got to listen to the waves all night. Facilities are fine, but nothing special. The shower was quite expensive (400 for 5 minutes), but we couldn't get it working anyway. That was the biggest down side. That and the crazy birds that would dive at anyone who walked in certain areas!
On the other hand, the little cafe was nice. We had breakfast there in the morning, and while it was basic is was reasonably priced and it was a nice place to hang out before heading out for the day.
Overall the place was ok, but not special. it's probably a bit better for those staying inside the guesthouse.

Camped here in mid September and had a great experience. The staff was friendly. The facilities for the campground were excellent. It is in a beautiful location directly on the ocean. We were one of only 4 campers at the site. Plus we had an incredible show of the northern lights the night we camped here!
Great location, plenty of space, bathroom facilities were a 7/10. Shower was a perk but it was also a 7/10. Good enough for camping standards but nothing to write home about.
We stayed the night in one of the cabins. The sights were breathtaking! The guesthouse was very clean and well organized. Wireless internet was a nice plus. Having the coast near makes for some very fun exploring! I enjoyed every part of my stay!
Lovely little guesthouse, very close to the water side. Lots of windows in the rooms mean it's a great spot to spend the night if you're hoping to spot the Aurora Borealis.
Beautiful location out in the western peninsula of Iceland. Nice big lobby with wifi, unfortunately wifi didn't reach the rooms but my friends and I hung out in the lobby/main hall anyways. We ended up drinking and playing card games with some of the other guests, and we all had a jolly good time! Got to meet new people which can always be fun in itself. We had our own bottles from the airport but they do sell sodas to mix with. Another thing I love about the place is the scenery!!! Mountains and ocean view for days. Such a peaceful and beautiful place. Damien and Oscar were lots of fun too! They were running the place when we went. They also had great lamb for dinner. It did cost close to $40 but there are restaurants within close proximity, about a 25-30min drive out. Loved this place and would definitely recommend it for those visiting the west peninsula.
Such a beautiful farm. I didn't get to stay here but it seems amazing.

Nice place to stay by the ocean. Very basic place. Showers and bathroom are in a separate area from the bedrooms. You need to go through the lobby to get to the shower/toilet. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was decent. Expected the bedding to be a bit better. Felt and looked very cheap. Otherwise good. I would stay again.
