Nice place to stay for what you spend. Communal kitchen was handy to have and close to the bus stop but 40 minutes from the city. Beds were comfortable and it was nice and warm. Bathrooms could have been a little cleaner.

Decent location in a very quiet industrial area. Good base for Reykjavik, Blue Lagoon, and the airport. Easy access to get on main roads for south coast day trips and Golden Circle. Beds were comfy, just enough amenities to keep you satisfied. Kitchen is a big plus especially with near by grocery stores. I recommend this place to the person who will be out and about most of the time and is on a budget.

Rooms are sufficient. Wifi is strong. Bathrooms are cramped and clean to the eye but don't look behind anything. Communal area and kitchen are clean and seemingly well equipped but there is only one pot and one pan. Breakfast is a self serve of what is left over from whoever packed a family lunch the night before so don't bother with it. Do some shopping and go the self sufficient way.

The guesthouse did the job perfectly for us. It is clean and we'll organized. The kitchen was stocked with the basics for cooking and the breakfast was a nice bonus. There is free WiFi and free parking on site. It is not close to downtown unless you have a car. Not sure about transit. There is a Kronan grocery store nearby. Overall a good experience, we would stay there again .

Classic guesthouse with comfortable rooms, convenient location to shopping, nice kitchen, chatty but respectful fellow guests. Rules are clearly posted and everyone followed the quiet hours and kept the kitchen spotless. The owner is friendly and gave us great local information. We were very happy to find this affordable (for Iceland) lodging for our 24-hour layover.

Food was okay, somewhat bland, nothing to write home about. Not very hot either, in spice or temperature. It is a Mexican restaurant in Iceland after all but I've had better.
