Hotel is within walking distance to Chandi Chok, Amber Fort and Jammah Masjid. Food outlets are plenty around. Golden Haveli is 100 steps away from Haveli Dharampura. Rooms are nice and clean.

Very overpriced based on level of room, breakfast, quality of service, response speed, room quality. Could not sleep. Too noisy and they have music blasting on until 11pm. Coz the rooms have no insulation and are too small and all close together, you can technically hear the other neighbours breathing. Breakfast was very limited. My daughters got uncooked pancakes which didn’t taste like pancake at all. As soon as my daughter stepped out of the hotels, within a few steps, she stepped on human poo!! Very dirty and disgusting surroundings! Too overpriced for the service and room. Waste of money. The Delhi Novotel city centre was a fraction of the price and was a much better and pleasant stay for us.

A very beautiful hotel. Conveniently walkable to Red Fort and old bazar . I would have given excellent, if the charge for private taxi had not been a total rip off. If you prefer to arrange it through hotel only accept like a third of the price they offer.

Amazing property in the middle of Chandni Chowk. The property has old charm, very friendly staff, spacious and clean rooms with a lot of character. Dinner experience at the hotel was great...good food and nice live performances in the evening. Service was top notch always.

The streets in and around are narrow, busy and not very clean but have years of history.

Will definitely stay here next time I am in Delhi/Chandni Chowk area.

Beautiful building, although, given the price, details could be improved, eg. bathroom maintenance. Breakfast delicious as were meals at lunch and and dinner.

The area could be considered by some to be problematic, but I found the tumult to be a positive feature.

Staff were friendly but took around 20 minutes to complete the check-in. I was early for check-in and offered to come back but they insisted I waited.

The room was very clean and beautifully furnished and decorated with attractive fittings. The bathroom was compact but well equipped and designed. However, the slightly squint and cheap toilet seat spoilt the overall luxurious feel. The air conditioning was efficient and comforting and the rooms were quiet, easy places to relax privately.

Great hotel with lovely staff, only drawback is that it’s a bit tricky for cars to reach to so you will need to walk 150m or so but still very accessible. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others - it’s absolutely beautiful.

We loved our stay at Haveli Dharampura. It really is in the heart of old Delhi so you spill out in to tight streets and completely chaos bits it’s the real Delhi.

Hotel is luxurious, rooms are clean, elegant and staff are fantastic. The hotel isn’t just accommodation, it truly is a memorable experience and cannot recommend highly enough.

The food was the only disappointment. We had a very average dinner that was quite expensive for India (£80) and the breakfast in the morning was woeful. The food really doesn’t match the hotel which is a shame! Nonetheless you HAVE to stay here. Simply unmatched.

had a really nice couple of nights at the Havelli. quite a unique place I think. It’s in the heart of old Delhi but all things considered remarkably peaceful. I wasn’t entirely sure when I read the reviews but I’m glad I went there. Some clarification for those who are uncertain
1. It’s on a little pedestrian lane that’s actually not too busy and very sweet.
2. Incredibly centrally located. A couple of minutes walk from the mosque.
3. Felt very safe. The usual warnings about pick pockets but I never felt in the slightest bit worried.
4. access is actually quite easy. Bike tuk tuks will take you pretty much to the door. and the road is only a minute or so walk away.
5. there is another property about 50 yards away which also sounds lovely but I didn’t stay there.
6. very fine restoration. I’m told it took five years and I can believe it.

I don’t know that you’d want to stay there for a week. Just because old Delhi is a bit overwhelming. But for two or three nights it’s an experience not to be missed. A haven of peace in a cacophonous frenetic but fascinating part of the city.

Food - Terrible oily Puri type parathas. This is overrated fooding area in Delhi. Parathas were tasteless and they use minimal stuffings. They are completely fooling. Please guys do not waste your money.

Hygiene - The most disgusting part apart from parathas is that the area is unhygienic and even drinking water was dirty. I visited here with my friends and it spoilt our mood completely.

Cost - In pictures it looks like it must be a cheap place to eat but they will loot your hard earned money for a food which has no hygiene, taste or service. They are getting customers just because of over branding of that area. PLEASE AVOID!

We found seating immediately, on a busy Saturday, and ordered in 2 minutes and got our food in another 5 minutes. Very courteous service and very tasty food. We had mix, paneer and papad paratha and my favourite was papad. The aloo makhana sabzi was a little spicy but the chatni, papaya sabzi and other potato curry were great accompaniments.
Each paratha costs Rs 70

People are standing in Q to get a seat and have unhealthy paranthe (?) , I have visited this shop and had paranthe , I felt it's not worth of rupees 60 for each. Sheer waste of time and money, I suggest you not to go here, also lassi also not tasty. It's simply getting famous for their paranthe, nothing is there, waste fellows.
21.12.2017 Ravi
The taste is not bad. But you can get better taste with much less calories and better service + better seating within chandi chowk.

It may be a case of personal preference, I would prefer tawa or tandoor paratha

Service is horrible.

The only possible reason to visit gali paranthe wali is the history associated with it.
