This was not my first time staying here, and before that, I tried several hotels in Delhi over many years, but this is the place I always stay now. Besides the fantastic location, the people are so friendly and accommodating that they alone are worth the stay. If you need something that they do not have and ask about it, they will bend over backwards to get it for you. They are hardworking and trustworthy, and they make me feel like I'm home. Great people make the difference.

Spacious and clean rooms, perfect location close to central delhi. Kind staff and prompt. Breakfast also was good

One of the hallmarks of India is the constant honking in traffic where almost everyone honks . This hotel is, however, isolated from this noise

The hotel is right next to a railway station& apart from the noise of the announcements, the trains honk so loudly and in such a long blast that , a few times, I thought that the Wolrd War 3 had finally started and these sounds were the sirens
I didn't manage to sleep well at all. The jarring sound of the trains ruined my sleep & I am habitually a sound sleeper
If you are sensitive to loud infernal noises when sleeping, best is to totally avoid this hotel

This is not a 3 star hotel. Yes, it is centrally located, but a train is located right next door and the horn goes off every few hours. The rooms need a good cleaning. I moved the curtains and a large cloud of dust erupted. The ceiling in the bathroom has paint peeling. Tape over electrical cords. You need to call repeatedly for the hot water to be turned on. The towels are very worn out and scratchy. The toilet takes repeated attempts to flush it, even with large amounts of water poured in. The only saving grace was some of the staff that tried very hard to accommodate the guests.

The initial room was extremely bad - the ac did not work and the fan was very loud. The exhaust also did not work and it got really hot. A lot of things were damaged in the room and we eventually had to change the room. The hotel never once apologised for the issue or even talk about it.

If you plan to freshen up in hotel and spend remaining time sightseeing delhi, this hotel is perfect. . Good hotel with appropriate location for sightseeing and short visit purpose. The staffs are courteous and responsive. There is a train line behind the hotel, which may disturb sleep for few.

Nicely located in very prime area of new delhi. Full marks for location. Rooms are knit and clean. Room service also very fast. And they are polite to. Only the problem is bathroom wash basins are choking up.

The stay at the emerald hotel was very quiet and there were no problems, but i was bothered by the noise of the train.

Rooms need an overhaul and a complete clean. My room has broken bits of furniture, if you move the curtain, the dust flies around. Towels are scratchy, tv not working, no fridge or hairdryer, mouldy shower. The air con and fan do work and it's location is not far from Connaught Circus, so if they cleaned and maintained it would be fine.

It was such a horrible hotel - everything broken - not maintained - dirty. Location is the only thing which is positive for the property.

Stayed in the hotel and so decided to try their restaurant, the food is just incredible. It's hard to describe in words. Waiters are dressed in Rajasthani outfit and at the end of the meal the chef comes out to say hello to all the tables. Their wine selection is awesome too.

Amazing place to hangout with your friends and family as well! The food is very good but the quantity is a little less. Overall I had an amazing experience over there.
