Atithi Guest House in Jaipur

I had worked in this hotel and I want to tell all the customers that this hotel and the owner both are very bad because till the time I worked in this hotel, they paid me my salary in half every month.They take my account details but they never give my salary in account and i give my resignation and i complete my registration period. They (Tanmay shukla & vijay Shukla) take my signature on a blanck paper and how i know what they will do with my signature and still i not getting salary.These owner said to me do whatever you can do.I want to say all those guest who want to stay with hotel.if this is not safe for employees then what will happen to the Guest..i request to all guest don't stay with them and visit..

My mother stayed at this property, I booked it for her, only for a layover, since it was lengthy. Even for a couple of hours, the night manager, I assume his name is Ramesh, was not helpful in the least. And any help that he did provide, he did after a lot of resistance.

The room provided was a floor above ground, and he refused to help my mother (60+) with her bags. Only when she insisted, he told her its not his job and woke another employee to help, who also complained about her time of arrival (after mid-night).

We booked through make my trip, that showed there was only one room available. We were told at the guest house that we booked a non-AC room and that booking will specifically show that. We checked and also shared our booking with Ramesh that it did not specify that. He then refused to speak to me on call. He then showed my mother an AC room and suggested we pay the difference. We would have done so without issue, but his behaviour had been so unreasonable that it felt like a loot.

We asked for his name, so we can mention it in the reviews, he didn’t tell us. He only told us he was the manager. My mother was there from 12:45 am to 4 am. And she was so stressed after this altercation.

Given the situation, I would like to believe that this might be a one-of case but seeing that there are many reviews regarding the management, this doesn’t come as a surprise.

Save your money, go somewhere else.

We did not feel taken care of at this place. After we confirmed our booking, the management did not respond to our inquiry (sent through the booking app) about how to reach their property (recommended transportation method and cost). This information would have helped us, as first-time visitors to a city should be aware of the best way to reach their accommodation and the appropriate price to pay for it (and Google does not always provide the most accurate info). Next, when we checked in, we needed to buy some drinking water and take it up to our room. However, the person working at the reception desk said he would send it up to our room. 20 minutes later, the water hadn’t arrived, and we had to go back downstairs and buy it / take it up to our room (as we’d originally wanted). It seems the staff member had forgotten about our request, because he gave no indication of remembering it when I asked for it a second time. The staff need to understand that providing drinking water promptly when requested is important, especially in the warmer months when dehydration is a risk. Also, that good customer service includes taking a few minutes of their time to provide info to paying guests that will help them safely navigate to their property. On the plus side, the hotel is nicely designed. However, this is not enough to make us repeat customers.
