I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life at this property. After booking a confirmed reservation well in advance, I arrived at the hotel only to be told that there were no rooms available. No prior notice. No call. No email. Nothing.
This is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to be professional and reliable. I was travelling with my 2 year baby and wife ,A confirmed booking should actually mean something. Instead, I was left stranded with luggage and kid forced to scramble for last-minute accommodation at a higher price and unknown area.
The staff showed little accountability and offered no proper solution—just excuses. There was no meaningful apology, Overbooking and turning guests away without warning is terrible business practice.
If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. A reservation here clearly does NOT guarantee a room.

Excellent service by the front desk reception
Location was Awsome so close to the beach
Room service was great 👍
Room size was big enough and clean but balcony was not cleant and shower wasn’t working well
No toilet rolls and paper napkins in the room
Breakfast can be improved as after 9am they didn’t have enough supplies and when asked for sliced Bread also they said it’s over and only thing was left was Iddli’s and lovely hot dosas. Fruits and chutney was kept open.
When you say breakfast is from 8-10am I assume atleast till 9:45am they should have some basic food cos many check in late night and wake up late for breakfast.

Fantastic location, kind service and an overall relaxing ambience. It’s akin to a luxury homestay, located within a 100m from the scenic beach. Special mention to Suresh, who was ever so helpful and kind.

I had a wonderful stay at the resort, which was exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout. A special thanks to Mr. Suresh at the front desk, whose warm welcome, professionalism, and friendly, helpful attitude made my experience even more enjoyable. His positive energy truly set the tone for a great stay.

A great stay at Maroma Suites
In a great location and jumping-off point for everything we wanted to see and do in Chennai, the Maroma Suites is immaculately clean and comfortable and offers good breakfasts.
But the real delight of this hotel is senior manager Mr Thiru and his truly excellent team!
Together with office manager Sandya, he solved and organised so much for us.
Special mention must also go to Shiva. He took us on a great sight-seeing tour one day, and then at dawn the next morning, ***** Marina Beach to see the fishing boats coming back in.
We had a wonderful stay!
