We had booked VGP Golden Beach Resort for our wedding on February 8, 2026, and unfortunately, our experience with the management was extremely disappointing. While booking the venue, Mr Bala was very responsive and friendly. However, after the booking was confirmed, he completely stopped responding to our calls and messages. To make matters worse, on the night of our reception, there was a theft in two of our rooms. This appeared to happen due to the resort’s improper locking systems. The master key was kept at the reception, and the bellboy frequently used it whenever guests were locked out of their rooms, which raises serious security concerns. What followed was utter panic after our reception. Despite reporting the issue, no one from the management has made any effort to properly address the situation or even contact us regarding the incident. This was supposed to be one of the most important days of our lives, and the lack of responsibility and follow-up from the resort management has been deeply disappointing. We strongly urge future couples and guests to carefully reconsider before booking this venue. Property location is good. Food was good but it is way too costly. They are not providing even the basic things in the room like tea coffee pouches but charging too much more than 7k. Not maintaining hygiene. Towels looked very old and used. Common washrooms were very dirty.

First of all, room is not good. Not clean, looks very older walls and interiors. There is no private beach area. Swimming pool also not good and too much smell due to cholorine. Indoor play area is very smelly. Unable to sit for more than 5mins. Few things like lawn, trees are good. Mosquitoes were there in room. Overall, not a good stay for a holiday. Not worth for money.

The food was a bit costly in the restaurant that was inside...but the campus and the room was nice..
The shore was not illuminated much in the night and was not much clean ..but the stay was overall okay

really good...and enjoyed... The only disadvantage I saw is kettle is available, but tea bags and milk powder to make tea are not available... This disappointed me... Otherwise, staying is ok...and don't buy order food from inside the restaurant; it is 5 times costlier than the original price...for example, a dosa is 300 rupees, and half a liter of 7 Up is 125 rupees....plan your alternate food options...

Ambience is just average. Not recommended for group of more than ten people, though there are 16cubicle, each cubicle cannot accommodate more than ten people. Food serverd is horrible, even dosa was not served hot. Sambar was too cold, above all its too expensive. Taste was worse than a road side shop and price was equal to any five star hotel. Not worth spending time and money here.

Nice environment, nice food, friendly staff.
Get in early to relax and get the feel of the environment.
They have a variety of dosas, don't miss to taste them.
