Convenient place. There're shops, a middle sized mall, convenient stores near by. Kuta beach is close like 5 mins walk.
I chose here because of the boxed style bed. And it was so nice as I expected. Privacy and you can chill in your bed.
The shower and the toilets were not dirty but not so clean. They were ok.
The light breakfast included so it's nice :)
I met some very nice travellers here and it made my trip great!

This hostel's location is very close to shops, a mall, and the beach! The sleeping capsule provided privacy, a small fold out table, a reading light, and a working outlet. The lockers were large enough for my backpack and a small carryon suitcase, and the staff were really friendly and accommodating with requests. The rooftop had a view of the ocean, busy restaurant/bar scene and shopping mall areas. I would highly recommend this hostel if you are staying in the Kuta area :)

Best thing about this hotel: cleanliness & interior design. The bathroom is especially clean and comfortable! Interior design is so well-thought, especially for the price of this hotel. Service was great and the staff is helpful and friendly. also, spacious bunk beds!
Can be improved: breakfast only consists of bread & jam, but hey I'm not complaining judging by the price.

This shady H Hostel demanded a 500,000 IDR deposit for check-in, which is illegal. They also charged 80,000 IDR just to chat with the front desk lady. I hope this place gets shut down. At check-out, they even inspected the large towel for 5 minutes before returning my 500,000 IDR deposit. Terrible experience, absolutely not worth visiting this dishonest hostel. It should be closed down.

A really good hostel. It has sleeping pods with a roll-down blind, power outlet, and light, everything you need. It's also very quiet there. Restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The beach is 200m behind the hostel. Toilets, showers, and washing facilities are good. The airport is a 10-minute scooter ride away.

Don't go for lunch. There is no seafood, especially prawns. Make sure you ask about what they have before you order. And don't swap for mantis prawns as they are very expensive. AUD45 for 2 plus service and tax charges. Shocking! I thought Bali was supposed to be an inexpensive place.
