Decent Stay but Bathroom Needs Serious Update

We stayed 3 nights in a Deluxe Twin room at Le LIMA Hotel in Kuta Beach. The room itself was acceptable, though not spotless. The main issue was the bathroom: it clearly needs renovation. The toilet, shower, and faucet are very old, not properly cleaned, and there was a constant damp smell. The ventilation only works when it senses motion and switches off after a few minutes, so the floor stayed wet and the smell never went away.

Towels definitely need replacing. They were washed but looked worn out, and one had a large hole.

On the positive side, the air conditioning worked ok, the bed was comfortable, the TV had English channels, and having a fridge in the room was convenient. The pool area looked nice and the balcony view had great Bali vibes.

Breakfast was extremely basic—toast, butter, jam, simple hot dishes like noodles or rice, some fruit, tea, and instant coffee.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is quiet, just behind Beachwalk Shopping Center. Taxis can’t drive directly to the entrance, so there’s a short walk. It’s close to shops, restaurants, and the beach, but the small street leading to the hotel can feel a bit uncomfortable if walking alone at night.

Overall, the stay was okay for the price, but the bathroom and towels need urgent improvement.

My favourite budget hotel in Kuta great location, it's nicely decorated for the price point. The staff are very friendly and the pool is great open 24/7.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found this to be the best hotel in Bali in budget price. Rooms are clean and AC works perfectly. Breakfast is not that fancy but far better than other budget hotels around. For me, The only thing lacking is the electric kettle in the room.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at Le Lima hotel for the majority of our vacation in Bali.

It’s very close to Kuta beach (4/5min by motorbike or 5min/10min walk max.)

All the staff are friendly & welcoming too. AC works well, Queen bed very comfortable, fridge, safe and bin inside the room.

The outdoor area has a lovely & relaxing pool to swim, sunbeds to lay down and areas of shade to cool off.

Breakfasts are simple with noodles, potatoes+veg or steamed rice along with fruit and bread. Tea & coffee is also provided

The only few disadvantages are the bathroom where we had a smell coming from the toilet area, some minor rust stains around the bathroom. However, we addressed the problem with keeping the bathroom door shut and burning incense. If the bathrooms were to be given some proper maintenance I would be giving it 5/5 stars .

They were also doing some electrical maintenance work fairly late on a few nights’ (around 10/11pm) which can easily be done in the daytime to avoid noise for guests during the evening time .

Otherwise it’s a great hotel that’s very central and is much quieter + peaceful only a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Kutas’ busy atmosphere .

Considering the value, quality and price we paid for I’d stay at Le Lima again. Thank you for the hospitality :)

Really enjoyed my stay here. The room was comfortable, though like a previous comment on here, there was a slight stagnant water smell, which you noticed when you came into the room, but didn't notice after a minute or so. Simple breakfast with a different warm dish on each day, plenty of bread for toast and fresh fruit available each day. The place is at the end of a tight alley and larger taxis might struggle, but it's only a two min walk from where they'd have to drop you off. Close to everything, nice pool area, strong Wi-Fi and the staff are friendly enough. Certainly worth considering.
