4 star hotels in Jakarta

We stayed for two days and had no major complaints. Given that it's an older hotel, we did notice some minor scratches on the furniture and peeling paint in places, but considering the price, this was perfectly acceptable. I'm sure this isn't unique to this hotel, but there were a few small gnats in the room. If that's something that bothers you, I'd recommend bringing some kind of deterrent.

We stayed overnight for an event during a busy weekend. Booked 3 rooms but 1 was checked in late because the guest before us left the room without checking out at the front desk. The hotel’s lobby and restaurant has been updated, but appears that rooms were not. Our room was a corner room on the 4th floor. It was very spacious and everything worked, however carpet and curtain can definitely use some upgrades. The service provided by the staff is heartfelt and truly wonderful. However, the entire building has become dilapidated, which has significantly lowered our satisfaction. In particular, as shown in the attached photo, the windows are not properly fixed, and there are a few mosquitoes in the room. Although renovation is necessary, this investment has been neglected for a long time.

Very nice hotel, fabulous decor. Helpful staff, great views from the rooftop. We spent 3 nights here, we would come back. The room we stayed in was huge, it had an office and a fridge freezer! Everything was clean and comfy. We had everything we needed.

First comment: Be cautious lately about any reviews of Jakarta Hotels. From my feeling most of them are fake and asked for by the reception staff. The room was pretty good, but it didn't have a window, which caused a bit of a strange smell. Also, the hotel facilities were a little old. Other than that, it was decent.

Hotel is very comfortable with clean rooms and amenities. Staff were also very helpful and enthusiastic. Location was also good with easy transportation access, but note that the traffic jam at the main road outside is quite bad.

Check-in at the front desk was very efficient. The room was quite spacious and had no strange odors. Facilities were complete, and the bottled water provided was good. Breakfast was rich and offered a wide variety of choices. The air conditioning was strong and quiet, leading to a high quality of sleep.

The hotel is located in the old town, which made getting around quite inconvenient. The surrounding area felt very old, and the nearby Chinatown was also a bit run-down. On the positive side, the hotel facilities were relatively new, breakfast was plentiful, and the service was good.

This hotel is a bit older, but the cleanliness was acceptable. The staff had an excellent service attitude; I forgot to ask for cutlery when ordering takeout, and a staff member personally delivered it to my room.

The room was nice; the deluxe double room felt a bit small, and the decor was a little dated. The staff's attitude was very good, which I was quite happy with. Breakfast was also good. Overall, it's worth recommending.

Booked for only 2 nights as a stop over in Jakarta before flying on. Room was decent, only downside being there were only amenities for 1 person despite booking for 2 people. Executive lounge has some great food and drink in the evening and meant we could try a few dishes, although it wasn't clear from our booking that food was included in the price, so nice bonus
