We stayed for two days and had no major complaints. Given that it's an older hotel, we did notice some minor scratches on the furniture and peeling paint in places, but considering the price, this was perfectly acceptable. I'm sure this isn't unique to this hotel, but there were a few small gnats in the room. If that's something that bothers you, I'd recommend bringing some kind of deterrent.

Nice hotel, the only downside is that it's located in the Ancol area, where you have to pay an entrance fee every time you go out into the city. Inside the area itself is quite nice, with two McDonald's, a Starbucks, and water activities nearby. They always replenished the tea and brought fresh toothbrushes. Make sure to request a room facing the pool when you check in; it's much quieter. Otherwise, the rooms facing the road are very noisy due to motorcycle traffic! The 4 AM prayer calls from the loudspeaker are unavoidable, though! Breakfast offers a good variety. Traffic jams are common. It's a 20-minute walk to the largest mall!

Nice hotel BUT they charge 10k IDR for a car to pick you up. The car was in the parking area for less than 5 minutes and we stay at the hotel. But the parking refused to let us exit for free and asked us to go back to the reception even though it was raining heavy.
