I've been staying here for years! Convenient location, unobtrusive service, calm atmosphere, and respect for guests. Yes, there are some downsides, but the price-quality ratio, location, and atmosphere all rival a five-star hotel. If you value tranquility, a homey atmosphere, and easy access to amenities, this is your choice. There's no breakfast, but that's a plus for me; I'm not tied to a specific time or menu.

Clemmie Huis Jogja was a pleasant place to stay. The service was friendly and the facilities were well-maintained. The highlight is definitely the location—the neighborhood has a very relaxed, breezy atmosphere with plenty of cool cafes and coffee shops just a short walk away. It’s a solid choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet getaway in Jogja.

Overall, the hotel was clean, but the smell from the drain in the shower room was a bit bothersome.
Also, there was live music every night near the hotel, so the noise echoed a bit into the night, making it a little difficult to sleep.
However, it was a very relaxing and comfortable hotel!

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. We took confidence in the reviews posted for this place however, in actuality the level of cleanliness leaves plenty of room for improvement.
The bathroom and toilets in particular were stained with scum, smelled bad and towels were thin and old.

Hotel is located on a main road in central Yogyakarta making it easy to get to most nearby tourist spots. The front desk staff where always helpful when I requested anything and the in house laundry service was also quick and cheap. Typical of any hotel some sound proofing issues present, staying on the lower floor or near the breakfast area means you are constantly able to hear other guests moving around. The bed linens were clean and mattress comfortable, bathroom was spacious and clean. Overall, I would recommend.

Nice, cosy and quiet place. Nice Ice cream (not sure these are the best ice cream in town!!). Affordable prices. Staff friendly. Cleanliness ok - 3*.

Best meatball (baso) in town. You can order rice for addition just in case you still hungry. Fast service. Reasonable price, easy access place but limited parking space.
