Griya Sentana Hotel Jogjakarta in Yogyakarta

We (~35yo Italian couple) loved staying at the Griya Sentana Hotel! It's a perfect place to stay.

We slept 4 nights here, but could easily see ourselves staying for a much longer time.

As long as you don't have unrealistic expectations (this is not a western 4 star, but I could easily compare it to a 2 star with some 3 star services, my reference is Italy).

The people working there are super friendly and available, the room is spacious (the beds in some wide angle photos look bigger, almost king sized, while they are actually french beds, but very comfortable).

The bathroom is really well ventilated by a huge fan, which ensures no mold and no humidity: this was a touch of genius. AC works very well.

Room is made daily, two small bottles of water + coffee and tea are refilled.

Would benefit from a more detailed cleaning (corners, some surfaces) and a certain level of maintenance (limestone partially blocking the shower, accent is on "partially", not on "blocking").

Manager asked me if I had any suggestions, and was keen on listening, so I honestly expect next guests will experience some improvement.

Ah! Wifi in our experience was really good!

We were allowed to leave our luggage outside check-in and check-out times at the hotel which was very convenient for us. The room was very clean and the A-C worked great. The location was a 15 minute walk from the station. The staff was very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious.

Well located hotel and welcoming staff! The rooms are clean and the hotel in general is well maintained.

Have a cup of coffee with colleagues. The ambiance is so relaxing. They have an acoustic band once a week. Another option for releasing your stress.

It's not a hotel at all, it can only be regarded as a B&B.

Love it ❤️ .. it's a great place to hang out, family friendly, went there to have a hair cut accompanied with their best coffee Long Black Ice Coffee and Live Music Performance every Friday Night .. Kudos Griya Sentana Malioboro Jogjakarta 👍👍

My stay at the hotel was very enjoyable. The stuff was nice and helpful. The room was good and the provided servis too. I liked the coffee shop which is opened 24/7.
