Bladok Hotel & Restaurant in Yogyakarta

My family and I (wife and 4yr old child) had a wonderful week long stay here. We started out in the economy room, but on the 2nd night we upgraded because it was just too small and hot for the 3 of us. The staff were very helpful and let us upgrade and move rooms immediately. The economy room was very basic with wall fan, cold shower and squat toilet. Which is totally fine for the price. The deluxe room has AC, throne toilet and hot/cold shower. It is also much larger. It is obviously more expensive, but if you have the money, it is worth it. Everything was beautiful clean and well maintained. Your room would be cleaned as often as you requested and you were given water daily. The pool on site is lovely. The hotel can arrange tours/taxis/laundry for you. However, we didn’t do any tours and sorted laundry ourselves. Wifi is good. The church next door is a little noisy if you have a room that overlooks the pool, but we didn’t and there were no noise issues at all! The location is great with lots of food options around a close to good attractions. Highly highly recommended. I would stay again! The pool at the hotel is lovely.

A grand old building in an excellent location, close to the railway station and Malioboro Street. And with a swimming pool, perfect for hot afternoons.

The rooms were adequate but good value for the price I was paying for.

However I did find some dirt on my pillow but I brushed it off. Also Western travellers should be warned that the are traditional Indonesian style bathrooms in the rooms. At least in my room, so a squat toilet with no toilet paper, or flush, and a cold shower. I didn't mind but others might.

Charming, intimate hotel.
A lovely hotel with very attentive and helpful staff. Impeccably clean. Located on a quiet street very close to the city center and train station. We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.

The location and room was good. Only the bed i think not so clean because i got the bed bug bites during stay for 2 nights here. My friend also complained the same thing.

Nice place with strategic location. Very near to teras malioboro. Easy to find food

We stayed here for 2 nights in Jogja. It is located close enough to the station to walk without stress. Also near malioboro street. The pool is a nice treat after a hot day in the city. The rooms are pretty basic, but good enough. The hot water takes almost 5 minutes to heat up and the towels should be replaced because they are quite old and have lost all fluffy texture. Quiet during the night for a good night sleep though the bed isn't the most comfortable. The price is reasonable for what you get.

Glad to stay in this hotel very close to Stasion Yogja, few minute walk. Walking distance to Malioboro tourist spots. Street food stalls are just across the road, breakfast of nasi gudeg are just across the road, you can easily rent motorcycle just next of to the hotel.
