Good variety of breakfast!

Good location near shopping mall 3 minutes walk from hotel!

Some local restaurants nearby and food court inside shopping mall.

Overall a good stay with very comfortable bed.

My experience at ARTOTEL Yogyakarta is truly impressive — the digital art installations at the reception area, well chosen art sculptures and paintings, the warm staff greetings, the scent, the atmosphere, the design, and the overall hospitality felt like a real piece of modern art. It sets very high standards for the ARTOTEL chain.

The rooms are new, and the facilities are excellent. English communication was seamless. The front desk has a great vibe. Most importantly, the breakfast was fantastic, comparable to a Hilton in China. I'd recommend staying here if you're in Yogyakarta; it's right in the city center.

We stayed in connecting rooms at the 5th floor. The rooms were quiet and comfortable. Highly recommended.

The hotel’s location is good, and overall the stay was fine.
However, the bathroom was a bit dirty, with mold and black spots in the corners. The small fridge also didn’t work(not cooling) and seemed very dirty inside, with noticeable black spots.(We forget to take a picture of it)
Breakfast was kinda fine, but dinner at the restaurant was a bit disappointing. We ordered the fried squid dish, but it still had the membrane attached, which made it tough and inedible.
Plus point 👉 👉 The staff are all very friendly and helpful!!

Room is.clean and spacious. There's nespresson machine and welcome fruit platter in the room. We also got chocolate on the first day.
Reception staff is really nice and helpfull.
Location is good, near famous fried chicken and gudeg sagan.

5 star ambience and location but ironically the food was bad. Chef is definitely taking the important role to make the food taste great. The older management was way off better, Hollycow. I know the grand Aston is trying to make DeMeat Steakhouse as their own brand. But Steakhouse food quality is worsen. My suggestion is Chef need to improve/ change into better cooking steak skills or more training. Before consumers will go eating elsewhere, watch out your steakhouse competitor R&B Grill.
