Every single pillow, sheet, and towel had a stain on it. The room layouts just don’t make any sense and have zero space for multiple pieces of luggage. There was no air conditioning in common spaces (hallways, lobby, dining room) which made the already very humid hotel smell like moisture and made it very unpleasant to walk around. The air conditioning units in the rooms are not adjustable so some rooms are ice cold and others don’t get cold at all. The showers were tiny and the water pressure was so bad I left with cuts on my back. Every single bathroom floor flooded after 5 minutes of showering (which is actually the time it takes for the water to turn hot). I hope to never have the misfortune of returning to the King Solomon Hotel (which is supposed to be one of the nicest in the area - crazy!)

My friend and I went for dinner. We were staying at another hotel and fancied a change for dinner. The meal, buffet style, was excellent.

Hotel King Solomon in Netanya completely dilapidated and unsanitary due to work currently taking place at the hotel: July, August, September 2023. And for an indefinite amount of time.
It’s notable that nowhere is it signalled (travel platforms and hotel website) that the hotel is on works, and that none of the services it claims to offer are guaranteed in: jacuzzi, spa, gym, pool, bar, Wi-Fi connection and « Israeli breakfast » as guaranteed. It’s a matter of stale cookies, uneatable. In addition, there's no milk, fruit or juice.
Consequently, hygiene is totally disregarded. Sheets and pillows are stained. Mattresses have holes. The rooms are dirty, as are the common areas (photos attached).
What's more, the staff are not at all friendly.
Ignoring all this with our family and not being able to enjoy our stay as it should be for what we paid, the hotel management categorically refused to make us any discount nor compensation.
So run away from this unsightly hotel and go instead to the Leonardo Plazza, for example. Which is a place of services and humankind.

This hotel has no right to charge what it does even during Passover. It has not been renovated in about 20 years, the pillows were probably about 25 years old and made up of cotton wool balls. When i asked for proper pillows, they replaced them with the same kind and then said “we don’t actually have any full pillows. Try putting one on top of the other.” The food was average and at times average-to-decent. Until they decide to renovate the halls and bedrooms and bathrooms, no one should waste their money on it. If it wasn’t for the location, this would be ranked as a 1 star.

Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Average quality buffets. Great location to Mediterranean Sea. Older building in need of updating, very dated.

Overall, old rooms, no towels until I asked. No glass in the bathroom. Swimming pool ok, but again had to wait long for towels

I switched rooms four times. Wet carpets, keys don’t work, smells like mold and mildew, clothes were wet, questionable crusty white stains on bed sheets and blood stains on curtains, towels, and sheets, cockroaches in the room as well. I personally lysoled the night table and door knobs and the white wipe turned black instantly. Beyond the worst experience and the customer service was even worse.

Absolutely terrible, the hotel is old and decaying, it might have been a decent hotel back when there were no other hotels in the area but now it's hideous. The staff is rude and make no effort at all to help you with anything. We arrived late in the night and they told us that both the elevators were broken and we had to take the stairs. Taking the stairs with bags while being on the 8th floor, imagine that! They didn't try to help at all, it was terrible. Both the rooms and the common areas of the hotel are dirty, like absolutely disgusting, highly doubt any of it has been cleaned in years.
Just terrible over all, just avoid this hotel

My wife and I were looking for a nice little pesach vacation. The drive from Jerusalem was about an hour and a half. The hotel is centrally located with the beach and other attractions nearby. The rooms provide a beautiful view of the beach however it was old and musky but the service was very pleasant. The food was decent and plentiful. All in all it was a good choice.

Plus points:
- Best view of the sea from the balcony.
- Good room finish, with lots of storage space
- nice upholstery
- dinner was OK.
- free Wi-Fi

Minus points:
- room is extremely small
- the room AC is centralised. Hence can't adjust the temperature as per our wish.
- the bed was too cushiony (soft), might get back pain after the sleep.
- bathroom tiles slopping is not properly done. Water stagnates.
- balcony and room size is extremely small. Could have decreased the number of rooms and made the rooms a little bit bigger.
