I booked online, when I got there, there was no one on reception. When I did see someone, I said can I see the room 1st because the place didnt look right. They said I had to pay to look. That says it all. It is a slum and worse than a hostel. Enough said. They should shut it down.

Bad service. No one working there when arrived, had to wait for 2 hours before someone showed up. Did not reply on WhatsApp or calls when tried to reach them. Room full of mould, not clean

Stayed in this hotel in Tel aviv clean room with fridge and comfortable double bed. Air- con, Next to shops and bakery, 10 walk to the beach. I went away for 3 days and was back late I arranged with reception to have room ready which was cleaned and keys were left out for me and my luggage was safe as well. I had no issues would recommend. Friendly staff would stay here again. 👌 🇮🇪

The Idelson Hotel is not far from the beach and the stuff is very kind . The rooms are spacios and have air conditioning. This place is ok for city break in Tel Aviv . My experience in the Hotel is good .

This hotel is more a hostel. Not for adults. The room smelled, although it was clean. The other guests were noisey and rowdy until 2 in the morning. The sheet didn't even fit the bed. The location is excellent, as it is several blocks from the beach and in the center of action.

This facility should be closed, because it is not worthy of being called a hotel.
The room was dirty: cockroaches and roach traps behind the refrigerator, dirt under the bed (I found a bitten sandwich, used water bottle, dirty towels), dirty bed sheets, dust everywhere (I attach photos).
The bathroom had no hot water.
Very bad experience: no matter how nice the receptionist was, I do not recommend the facility to anyone. Don't be fooled by the cheap price compared to the city average.

The room had a very strong musty/mould smell, and I would cough heavily only when in the room. So I don't feel it was healthy and can only recommend to avoid.

I had 2 large, live, cockroaches in my room.

This is not really a hotel, as the 'front desk' is not staffed, even during the day, and there was no servicing of the room. I ran out of toilet paper and had to buy from a convenience store.

Other than this, there are the usual quirks of staying in Israel - the building is very old and the hot water does not work well.

Positives were that the room was cheap and in a great location, near the beach. But due to the mould, I moved to a more expensive hotel.

This place is a gulag.
I had booked a superior double room with a city view. When I arrived there on the day of the booking at 14:30 check-in time, the rooms were not clean (not only for me but for other guests also), they had a power outage of about an hour and the hotel looked like a ruin. You can see in the pictures what I got offered. First they showed me a bad room, then they showed another which was not that bad but still had dripping marks from the AC on the walls, walls were dirty, no view except the walls of the neighboring building etc.
The building looks like it's about to collapse.
They have no one at the reception on a regular basis.
They refused to refund me, booking.com has taken it up with them but they wouldn’t answer.
In the end, I got a much nicer hotel with sea view at the same price at Brown Brut hotel.

The worst experience ever. Recepcionist pretty rude. They cheated us with a lower category room when paid for a superior. Dirty, ruined building. The worst hotel ever
