WE STAYED AT THE HOTEL THE WEEK OF FERRAGOSTO WITH OUR 4-YEAR-OLD GRANDDAUGHTER AND WE HAD A GREAT TIME. THE OWNERS ARE VERY KIND AND ATTENTIVE TO THEIR GUESTS' NEEDS. THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT—I'D SAY IT'S LIKE A STARRED RESTAURANT, WITH A CHILDREN'S MENU TOO. THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS, VERY NICE, AND ABOVE ALL, VERY CLEAN. ONE DAY THE WHOLE HOTEL WAS OFFERED AN APERITIF ON THE TERRACE, AND IT WAS ENJOYABLE, AS WAS THE TYROLEAN-THEME EVENING. THE LOCATION IS GOOD, AND THE INDOOR AND OUTDOOR POOL WITH JACUZZI IS AN ADDED VALUE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CLAUDIA DAL POGGETTO

Every detail is attended to with love and passion, and it's clear that hospitality is a calling here. ‍‍ Comfort and Care The rooms are welcoming, clean, and furnished with simple yet elegant taste. We stayed with our two children at this lovely family-run hotel near Castelrotto. Convenient to both the Alpe di Siusi and Ortisei areas. Excellent food, spacious and modern room, excellent cleanliness, and a special thanks to all the friendly staff, including the owners. Highly recommended. The Orso Family

I stayed at the Baumwirt as a base for a week of hiking in and around Castelrotto and the Alpes di Siuisi, and I am still daydreaming about it. Small but professional and complete, low key and very friendly, exceptional welcoming service, great food, clean and cozy room with the perfect balcony for winding down in the evening ... living up to the stunning local scenery and authentic villages and towns is a tall order, and the Baumwirt meets the challenge in every way. I can't recommend this hotel strongly enough.

Today is my last day at the Baumwirt Hotel! I spent a pleasant week, welcomed and pampered by the entire hotel staff: the kitchen delighted me with dishes expertly prepared with love and creativity, using genuine products... even accommodating personalized requests. The spacious and spotless room... furnished in wood and stone with attention to detail... a balcony overlooking the lovely surrounding landscape. The waitresses in the dining room were kind, helpful, and smiling... always attentive to any need. And what about Mr. Zemmer and Mrs. Anna? They are special people who put heart and passion into everything they do and who know how to create an atmosphere that is both familiar and refined throughout the hotel... from the garden to the pools and the indoor common areas, you can sense a love of tradition and hospitality! This hotel is a gem - the perfect base for making the most of Castelrotto and the Alpe di Siusi. I stayed in early September for a week of hiking in and around Alpe di Siusi and Val Gardena and am very grateful to have found the Hot Baumwirt. The rooms and facilities are clean, very comfortable, and modern in just the right way. It's worth noting that the Baumwirt has worked hard to keep a low environmental footprint while maintaining a high standard of amenity and service. The staff is exceptionally welcoming, thorough, and was very indulgent of my feeble German (and non-existent Austrian German). The efficient and easy to navigate bus system picked me up right at the door and the bus pass provided by the hotel made it a breeze. The food was great - a varied menu, some serious highlights, otherwise classic for the region with a lot of effort to make it special. With a constant background music of cowbells from the surrounding farms, the Hotel Baumwirt exceeded my expectations and made for a wonderful visit.

Service could not be better! The food was excellent, their location really great - outside the village, but good bus connection ( areawide included).
Definitely coming back!

Very nice hotel, elegant and clean room.
Spa with swimming pool (also outdoor), whirlpool, sauna, steam room and relaxation room.
The food is good, the staff is very kind.
Free outdoor parking and free Wi-Fi.
