Ciasa Roby in San Cassiano

We have stayed here 2 years now and we love it. The people here are so nice and accommodating. It's nice to be remembered guests and feel like old friends. Food is good and it's nice to have the restaurant option after a day of skiing. Available and easy parking. Every week they have a wonderful buffet with sangria for guests in the lobby. Delicious cheeses, meats, and other hors d'oeuvres. One afternoon they also provide hot apply cider and snacks. There is a place downstairs to store your skis and a large wall boot warmer. It is a quick, easy walk over to the small town for a few additional restaurants, bakery and grocery. The ski lift is easily accessible 5 min drive. Parking is fairly priced for the day and if you go early no problem finding a spot. Does fill up if you go later in the morning. The lifts are great and you will be connected to miles of terrain with amazing views. Stop anywhere along the way at a refugio for amazing lunch. Just make sure you get the lifts back before last lift. We almost missed it once and would've had to find a taxi or other.

Note - We love Ski Peppi for renting high quality skis, boots, and they are really friendly, knowledgeable, and really seem to love what they do. Much different experience and price point than the U.S. They let us change out skis to try different ones and are easy to work with if you need an exchange due to fit or other.

What a great place - very well run hotel, staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. Not a luxury hotel, but one very well run. Congratulations and thank you. 🙏👍

A wonderful and perfect experience! Very welcoming, beautiful property, delicious meals. Most of all, friendly and extremely helpful proprietor and staff: we had a plan to hike out from the hotel to a rifugio to spend the night and return the next day, but stormy weather was predicted for the afternoon and the outward bound route would be long and a bit treacherous with many unknowns, so we feared getting stuck exposed in a thunderstorm. The proprietor gave us an alternate suggestion for our plan that allowed us to achieve our objective but reverse course so that we enjoyed watching the storm safely from the rifugio and tackled the longer and harder part on the next day, which was sunny and beautiful. What a great suggestion and kept us safe and happy! Grazie/Danke!!

Ciasa Roby is the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. The hotel is located in an ideal location, just a 5-minute walk from the ski lift, and there is a free storage area for skis and ski boots right next to the ski lift. The hotel is very charming and the rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is great.
However, the best part of this hotel is the staff who are incredibly kind, hospitable and friendly. Everyone tries to make your stay comfortable and you truly feel like you are at home.
Unfortunately, during our stay at this hotel my boyfriend broke his leg while skiing but the staff was 100% available to us at any time. They did everything they could to make the rest of his stay easier. Giorgio, the hotel manager, even carried him up the stairs with the help of two other hotel guests.
It's heartwarming to come across people who are willing to help, especially people as genuinely positive, helpful and accommodating as Giorgio.

The service and the staff's knowledge was great! Thus place was very accommodating and I loved that our ski equipment could be left at La Siena by the gondola. It made the mountains so accessible but also easy to walk the area. The menu changes daily and the food is very good. Sania was so charming, unforgettable, and welcoming!

This place is literally 5 minutes from piz sorega skilift.
Perfect.
It has everything you need and ofte orgnaizes pleasant moments to make all guests feel welcomed. The breakfast is amazing and the rooms are always clean and tidy.
Parking is very practical too and the restaurant is one of the best in the area.

The manager is also a very skilled barman, which can definetly help to enjoy your stay.

Giorgio ..... heritage of humanity!

structure not new but very dignified. well-kept and clean. quiet in the town center. the director Sig Giorgio is a splendid person

Simple but spotless rooms, extreme courtesy, welcome drink on Thursday, 10% discount agreement in some of the best restaurants in San Cassiano, ski and boot deposit at the start of the lift (however about 300 m from the hotel) . Mr. Giorgio was of a rare kindness, he allowed us to take a shower and change in a room he had free at the start! If we add a hearty breakfast with homemade cakes, we can speak of impeccable service. I will definitely be back.

Fantastic hotel with lovely staff: Giorgio advised and booked dinners for us along with excellent tips of the best way to ski la Sella Ronda along with weather hints and discounts for ski hire and local restaurants! The staff go above and beyond for customer service, especially the bar staff Luna... Lovely stay would reccomend to anyone in the most perfect resort of the most fantastic ski are!
