Hotel Maremonti in Gabicce Mare

- No WiFi in any of the rooms. WiFi in the lobby is unstable. - Bed resembles a trampoline. - A lot of noise from the restaurant: chairs being dragged, and loud footsteps, starting very early in the morning. - Airconditioning in the room sounds like a waterfall also when switched off. - Not very clean. - Breakfast and dinner buffet: greasy, hardly any fresh vegetables, not suitable to vegetarians. - No swimming pool. If you want to go to a pool you have to buy a ticket to the pool of another hotel (Nord-Est). A day ticket costs 15 euro. If you just want to swim for an hour you pay 10 euro. - Furniture, especially in the lobby, is falling apart. - No fitness equipment. - The staff speaks limited/no English but is friendly and helpful.

I put a star for the restaurant service: nice staff and varied and quite good food.
Cleaning common areas and zero-star rooms, despite having sanitized the rooms (not all) after the solicitations, the cleaning leaves much to be desired.
Upon our arrival we found stained mattresses and mattress covers and in two of the rooms, closed behind a folding door, a filthy kitchenette (there was a rotten blanket in the sink and old food residues)
Instead the partner beach offers an excellent service!

Premise: friendly staff yes, but what's the point if .... super dirty room, I have a 3 year old girl and I didn't leave because the alternative would have been a car, very uncomfortable bed I am 7 months pregnant, cobwebs on my head to be able to observe before sleeping the floor full of dust and hair and icing on the cake we had to leave the room at 12 they gave the keys to people who booked after us, suitcases found all on the bed when in other hotels they don't touch anything at all they just clean, nothing to say about breakfast because there was the necessary even dead mosquito on the cake but I think it's the lesser evil. I repeat the staff was kind but I don't think I will return also because they have been writing in the reviews for years that it is dirty but apparently the managers do nothing, the air conditioners are very dirty and I honestly don't know how it is still there Open since it is not there maintenance and it is evident. I am sorry to leave this type of review, I hope it can be together with the others a reason for improvement. The location is really great!

Positive notes: hotel located in a good position 3 minutes from the beach, dining room on the panoramic terrace on the 4th floor, beautiful. Varied cold buffet, good morning sauces and homemade cookies, clean rooms and comfortable mattresses. Negative notes: hotel absolutely not suitable for people with walking difficulties, old room and with damaged furniture (drawers that do not open well, old and rusty nets and curtains that, even if pulled, do not give the necessary privacy from the neighborhood. overcooked and, at breakfast, always the same things (the bare minimum) and poor quality cappuccino and chocolate.

Really poor. Dirty rooms and poor and low quality breakfast. We spent 250.00 for two nights b & b, with a price so I expect another type of hotel. The only positive note the very friendly staff.
