Dimora del Leone in Gaeta

Stayed in a Triple Room for a night in late May 2023. Room was comfortable, clean and nice smelling with modern facilities. However, the shower area in my room was a little dark with minimal lighting. Free parking with a pass provided by the hotel in any blue carpark lots in Gaeta (best if there’s any empty lot in Piazza Commestibili). Staff provided clear instructions on how to access the hotel entrance and room. He was also flexible and helpful to allow us to utilise the free parking pass for a couple of hours after our check out.

It would be a little inconvenient to get to the hotel with heavy luggages. You would first have to climb up a flight of stairs to get to the hotel. Once in, you would still need to climb up flights of stairs (depending on the location of your room). There were no lifts in the hotel.

Nonetheless, a good stay in the central part of Gaeta old town.

Clean room a little cramped. Small window at the top with a "view" of the staircase outside the building. Very convenient location for accessing the seafront and the clubs. B&B car park 5 minutes walk away.

I stayed in this bed and breakfast and I had a pretty good time but I was a little disappointed not to have contact with the staff (only via chat). Breakfast in the bar was very good and the people at the bar were kind. The room was wonderful even if you need to hang out your wet swimsuit or wash a t-shirt. There's nowhere to hang it out. The last night in the external corridor a light remained on and it penetrated the room a little (not too pleasant for sleeping) perhaps turning off the light in the corridor which should be there didn't work. For the rest it's a nice place. Efficient cleaning. To be recommended

Wlan was slow and unstable. Rest was perfect.

I stayed at this property for 1 night on July 27, 2022.
The structure is very nice, room with all comforts is very clean, owner helpful and friendly.
The breakfast is made in a bar near the structure, good breakfast coffee and croissant.
The only flaw is the car park which is located a bit far from the hotel, I think a 6/7 minute walk, it was a bit tiring😓
For the rest I recommend this structure which is located a stone's throw from the Gaeta seafront so you can easily move on foot 😊

Comfortable and cool room in the historic center of Gaeta. Friendly and helpful staff. Top cleaning. Too bad we only did a weekend
