Hotel Mareo Dolomites in Marebbe

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Mareo Dolomites. The staff was friendly and competent. The spa was lovely and the location was just right for us. We also enjoyed the food, which was fresh and delicious.

A lovely, peaceful hotel with spacious rooms and great views out to the Erta World Cup piste. The spa facilities are a lovely treat after a day on the slopes. The restaurant is excellent, with a wide-ranging buffet (soup, salads, veg, and often other small entrees) and a choice of starter and main and a desert. Transfer to the ski area is very efficient, and St.Vigilio itself is a lovely base for Kronplatz local slopes and is close to the bus link with the Sella Ronda. The staff are all very helpful and work very well as a team to make everything run smoothly and efficiently.

We had a wonderful week of skiing here in Feb 2026. The hotel is stunning and the rooms and food are fabulous. The wellness area is possibly the highlight of all the highlights. And you can even order a drink and nibbles from the comfort of your lounger. My partner ended the week with a very bad and the staff were so accommodating. Highly recommend a stay. It was our second visit and seeing the hotel and the village in the snow was even more spectacular.

Great choice to ski Kronplatz (and alta badia too!!!) while visiting with family or solo! Amazing dinner every night (several plates surpassed stuff ive eaten at highly acclaimed michellin starred restaurants). Easy access to ski slopes with private van every morning and afternoon. Super cozy bar and lounge area. Nice rooms and good enough pool and spa! Also, you can tell all the employees like working for the family and it just makes it such a pleasant experience all around!

Travelling with Inghams from the UK, we had a week's skiing in Kronplatz, staying in Hotel Mareo during early February 2026. What a fantastic hotel! This family owned and run hotel exemplifies the best of Sud Tirol's attitudes and approach to good hospitality. Lovely clean and spacious rooms, friendly staff, fabulous food and a relaxing spa and pool to enjoy after every day's skiing. We were made to feel very welcome (irrespective of being part of a British package holiday). I genuinely have nothing negative to say - we wanted for nothing. Picturesque location with wonderful ambience, exquisite food and excellent service. We've stayed here many times and it is always superb. Convenient shuttles to the lift, fine dining and a magical pool stand out.

I spent six nights at Hotel Mareo Dolomites as part of my Dolomiti Superski trip, and the experience exceeded every expectation. The half‑board dining was a highlight of my stay — every dinner was beautifully planned, thoughtfully prepared, and consistently outstanding in both flavor and presentation. The quality of the cuisine alone makes this hotel memorable. The entire staff was kind, attentive, and highly professional. A special thank‑you to Phillipo, whose warm smile and exceptional service made a real difference. He guided me through wine selections, helped arrange a rental car, and ensured we always had transportation to and from the cable car — even beyond the scheduled pickup times. His dedication and hospitality truly stood out. The dining room itself is superbly designed, creating a refined yet comfortable atmosphere that enhances every meal. I also thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities, which were the perfect way to unwind after long ski days. I would happily return to Hotel Mareo Dolomites for a longer stay next time. It’s a place that combines comfort, excellent service, and genuine care for its guests. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Dolomites.

Our second time in two years coming from Australia. Amazing hotel. Great family vibe. Incredible food. Best value ski experience we have had.

We are a family of four (two adults and two teenagers) and stayed at Hotel Mareo for five days during the Christmas break. This was truly one of the best experiences we have had in all our world travels. Here are some highlights: The Edelweiss Room: Our room was spacious, clean, and offered fabulous views of the ERTA slopes, which was perfect for watching the New Year’s Eve celebrations. Exquisite Dining: Both breakfast and dinner were absolutely superb. Having a beautifully plated four-course meal each night was a special treat for my family. Outstanding Service: The staff, including Filippo and Raffaella, were incredibly helpful. The entire team worked tirelessly throughout our stay. Activities & Location: The town of San Vigilio has plenty to do. We enjoyed three great days of skiing at Kronplatz and took several memorable hikes, including the walk to Ücia Lavarella, the Mill walk near Lungiarü, and a walk to the hamlet of Pieve. I cannot recommend this hotel enough for anyone looking for a perfect mountain getaway. We hope to return in summer to hike and mountain bike in the dolomites.

From the moment we arrived, The Hotel Mareo Dolomites exceeded our expectations. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with staff who were genuinely friendly and attentive. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the blackout curtains ensured a restful night's sleep. The on-site restaurant was a highlight. Breakfast featured a wide variety of fresh options, made-to-order omelets, and fresh pastries. Dinner was equally impressive, with gourmet dishes and an extensive wine list. We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Mareo Dolomites.
