Room ok, but the worst food I ate in Italy. Cold dinner, small choice, breakfast Italian so only sweets and bad coffee, really disappointing dinner, vegetables few and not fresh.

The Excelsior and its location takes your breath away in every corner. Incredible facilities and amenities. The dinning service does not match the hotel. Either understaffed or poor timing. Waiters were rushed to take your order, predicting before you actually ordered. Plates arrived at very different timing (my wife ended up waiting a long time for her dish). Seems you have to raise your hand to often to get some water or another glass of wine.

Unbelievable experience. Do not go there. Poor food, poor services, poor experience. Unkind staff. Aggressive director. No towels until the 3rd day of staying. Aisles cleanings at 5.30 am. They entered my room while my one-year son was sleeping, not caring about him and waking him up. They do not even serve food at your table. You must walk to the main table to get your own plate. Poor bar service (you have to keep bothering someone to get anything from the bar). Terrible experience. Never ever again.

This is just a sad Old Hotel. Rooms are small and old. And shows wear and tear. The hallways are Missing carpets. The breakfeast is dry bread and served with out a smile. The price is 75 EUR. Wich is way to much for this standard. Never coming back!

It was cheap compared to the other hotels here. We had breakfast, which wasn't the best, there weren't many kind of food. The beds were comfy, the rooms were tidy. The walls are very thin, you could hear everything happening not just from the other room but from the whole corridor. The staff were polite though. I could relax after 10pm, when other guests slept too. it could use a refurbishment.

not bad . needs a good refurbishment. food is good though tends to be repetitive if you take the half/full board cover. Centrally located to all amenities and ski bus and lifts.
