The Harbor Luxury Living in Trani

Luxury is very different!
Attracted by the central location, the positive reviews (???) and the website we booked the "Superior Evanescence" which is described on the site with the following words
"A super-luxury room created in a cave, formerly a deposit for fishing nets and fishermen's material. The Evanescence room keeps the original architectural structure unaltered, but embellishes and enhances it with a concept of unconventional elegance.
Tuff, wood and stone ennobled by a riot of marble, make this room a real gem in the heart of Trani, a stone's throw from the sea and the splendid cathedral.
A real "love retreat", a romantic and delicate love nest.
Smart TV and wifi. Personal care products, Bulgari. "
The only truthful thing is the word cave, the room, very small can only be reached by elevator, there are no stairs and the only window was barred and overlooked the square in front, only at my insistence I got a copy of the keys, I wonder how a structure so without emergency exits can have habitability, do not choose it if you suffer from claustrophobia.
The room has no wardrobes, drawers, bedside tables, only a bar with a hanger, so the suitcases and clothes remained in the suitcase (on the floor) or stacked at best. The bed had to be moved to use the electrical outlets, as they are located exactly behind it.
The bathroom has no point of support and there is no place for used towels that once used do not dry anymore, so in the morning reuse those already used in the evening still damp. PS of Bulgari only a small bar of soap, found on the second day, the first day we washed our hands with the bubble bath.
Since the "room" is located directly on the square, a meeting place and with several restaurants, we were cheered up by shouts and shouts (it was Saturday evening) until the early hours of the morning, when the municipal waste collectors started the their work, needless to say it was impossible to sleep a wink. Same situation the next evening, mitigated by the fact that it was Sunday evening.
Breakfast on the terrace, cappuccino, croissants and fruit juice (from the bar opposite) served by the good and helpful Silvio, the only positive note in this bleak landscape together with the central location.
Fortunately the two nights passed and we left with great relief.
I forgot, parking is on the street and the search for a free place was a difficult undertaking, I hope I don't get fines from the municipality of Trani, given the ZTL.
I thank Silvio for his availability, courtesy and kindness, who collected my complaints gracefully and worked hard to make the stay less unpleasant.
I'm sorry for such a bad review, but you can't promise and charge for things that are so far from reality.

There is no parking, despite the confirmations at the time of booking, the parking is difficult to find within the ZTL. After two months, the sanction from the Municipality of Trani arrived. Bad structure, bad experience, bad memory.

Value for money on which I would have a lot to say, breakfast that was indicated as included in the price (already very high for the offer) made to pay with a supplement of 15 euros per person ..... no no not there we are right
