Wonderful place to go, best accomodation that we booked in Puglia. The room and bathroom were stylish, spacious and clean, very authentic Italian structure with the inner garden. Check in was flexible and smooth, great location and easy to find. The owner is friendly and helping, breakfast (included in the price) at a local shop, simple and tasty (croissaint and coffee of your taste). Absolutely recommended!

Housed in a renovated old "basso" (low-rise building), the property is truly charming and charming. Extremely clean and convenient to both the train station and the port. The manager is very attentive, friendly, and honest. The price is truly competitive.

Convenient location!
We stayed in a semi-basement room with no windows except the access door.
The 4-bed dorm was good for one night at most.

Bad experience...just one night on July 29, 2025
The entrance door is dirty. The room, converted from an old warehouse with no windows, smells of damp. The extra pillows in the closet are stained. The children's bed has a dirty blanket. I'd give it a minus 10. The permit needs to be revoked. There are three steps leading down, like a barn. The owner doesn't exist. Poor breakfast. The photos of the B&B are misleading.

It's not like the photo, it's noisy, you can hear everything from the room next door, we couldn't sleep and the bed wasn't comfortable at all

Cool and charming
We were only in Trani for 2 days/ one night. Michele's place was nice and cool, very spacious. had basic kitchen crockery & lovely linen. No cooking facilities but not a problem with so much on offer a few steps away. Includes breakfast (cappuccino and pastry) just around the corner. In the Old Town within walking distance of the port and major monuments. Such friendly people in Trani!

A lovely spot in the middle of the old centre of Trani. Very close to shops, restaurants and the harbor.
The place is clean, cosy and the owner lives nearby. Very friendly owner and hospitable.
The breakfast was at a coffeebar closeby; cute and well arranged. A simple, but perfect breakfast.
Trani is beautifull! We made a daytrip to Bari by train (very easy); also great. And we even rent a car for one day and drove to Sassi, Matera. Excellent trip to do!

We enjoyed our vacation at "Ai Carretieri" a lot. The accomodation is very nice. The lessor was very kind and asked often, whether everything is fine and brought us new towels an toilet paper without asking in the middle of our week. We will come again.

The central location is a plus. Unfortunately, the rest... the humidity was unbearable, the bathroom, although very functional, had no windows or even an extractor fan, so it stunk... the garden view... the public parking lot was very small and always taken by residents, and the mattress had protruding springs. It's a shame because for a little money, it could be a great place. Trani is beautiful, worth a visit.
