B&B Al Porto Novo in Bisceglie

Practically a scam!
On July 21st, I booked a stay at the B&B at the new port of Bisceglie by making a bank transfer directly to the owner (without using any agencies or partner businesses).
Given that the rooms were listed on Booking as "elevator accessible," I contacted the owner personally to ask about whether the rooms had a shower rather than a bathtub, whether there was a disabled parking space near the property, and whether there were directions to a beach resort with accessibility features.
I arrived at the property on July 31st with my mother, who has a disability, and only after paying the full amount for the stay did I discover that the elevator is actually a freight elevator (not suitable for transporting people) and that the rooms on the first floor would therefore only be accessible by stairs.
The owner immediately became rude, accusing me of not having informed her of our mobility difficulties. She suggested using the freight elevator as a "solution," but only in their presence (since it's a B&B and I don't have a hotel with a reception, it would have meant confining my mother in the room).
Eventually, I had to leave the property and ask for a refund.
At 12:00 PM on July 31st, I therefore had to start looking for a place that could accommodate us, in a town with a historic center like Bisceglie.
After countless and multiple reminders, I still haven't received the full refund!
Beyond the financial scam, what happened is unfair and disrespectful, especially towards a 67-year-old woman who, in addition to her daily limitations, had to add the disappointment of not being able to enjoy the vacation she had always dreamed of.
