Villaggio Le Orchidee in Vieste

We (2 adults, 2 children 16/13) stayed for 2 weeks (August/September 2025). The description generally corresponds to the advertisement. However, we were disappointed in the details.
- We were accommodated in Bungalow No. 16, directly adjacent to the parking lot/central delivery point. Although the advertisement promised a quiet location (car-free complex), there was delivery traffic every day from 7:30 to 8:00. Departure noise sometimes occurred from 5:30 to 6:00.
- Privacy was not guaranteed for Bungalow 16 due to the central access path.
- Since the bungalow is located on the edge of the complex, Wi-Fi reception was very limited (although this, combined with poor network coverage, was not the fault of the complex, an unsatisfactory situation).
- Since we booked through Booking.com, no parasol/sun lounger was included (known). After checking with reception, we would have had to pay €25 per day. We received service at the neighboring site for €15.
- The bungalows are too small for a family of four. The bed has to be rearranged every day to make it possible to live in the bungalow, especially because with the bed pulled out, there's no access to the bathroom.
- The complex allows pets. This resulted in at least 70% of guests having dogs with them. This resulted in regular loud barking (one dog starts barking back at many) and the typical dog mess (doing their business on the beach and cleaning it up with a plastic bag). Unfortunately, we once had a small mess right in front of our bungalow entrance that wasn't cleaned up.
We therefore cannot recommend the complex and will not be returning.
