Hotel Flamingo in Gatteo a Mare

I was there for business, and that’s probably unusual in August. Nonetheless, I could enjoy the proximity of the beach in the evening and the cocktail bar aside the pool. It was surely a good experience. The staff was extremely kind. The room was small, but well organised and with a nice balcony with a bit of sea view. Despite of the size, the room showed a surprisingly large wardrobe space, due to clever design; I would have loved to see the same design in hotels in Japan and HK where the same room size offers almost no room for clothes. In the summer the underground parking is the only solution, unless you accept to park far away. In August there were more cars than parking spaces and cars are usually blocked by others. But a good parking valet service let me find my car in pole position when I had to drive away in the morning.

Love the architecture and theme of the hotel, family run property and you feel that spirit when you stay, right on the beech, nice sized pool with plenty of space and a great kitchen and excellent food. Thoroughly recommend to families, groups of friends or business travelers.

Star rating cannot fail to tell about the real quality of the hotel and the real cordiality of the people. There are few of them for that.

We have just left Gatteo where we stayed a week at this beautiful hotel. More than positive experience. Large pool and well kept by the lifeguard Guido, a character !! Situated in a magnificent location. Always clean room equipped with every comfort. The staff all very kind and professional. The strong point, however, remains the cuisine .. varied tasty, dishes always presented very well. In short, impeccable .. including aperitif and mid-August dinner. We will definitely return to this hotel and we would like to recommend it to everyone.

First time for us (and it will be the first of a long series). the kindness of this family and all the staff, ready to give a smile to everyone .. available for any request and need (even for those of us who have little ones). We had wonderful parties, karaoke by the pool ... unforgettable ... Thanks for letting us relax, have fun ...
