We had a wonderful stay at this lovely family-run hotel. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the location is perfect—just a 5-minute walk from the beach. The rooms were spacious and very clean, and from the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The hosts picked us up from the train station and brought us back at the end of our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. My partner and I truly enjoyed our time here, and we will definitely be coming back!

Amazing stay! 🌟 Service was excellent and very supportive. The location is calm and peaceful, surrounded by pine trees, with bikes available – riding through the forest was a real pleasure, and the beach is nearby. Breakfasts are unforgettable: the owner is a pastry chef, and the variety and quality of pastries (shortcrust & puff) are truly top level. As a dessert lover, I can say they deserve the highest compliments!

The place was great! The rooms spacious enough and cleaned daily! The food was divine ( the filled croissants make you fell like in heaven)and the personal exceptional! It’s a 5 min walk to the beach! We had several discounts from the hotel for the beach and for a restaurant near by, where the food and serving was great ( taking into consideration that we were a group of 11 adults and 12 kids .
I will return there anytime!

Everything here was great; the hotel is situated close to the beach, the room was big enough for two adults and two children, clean and comfy. Breakfast was delicious and you had a lot to choose from. The hotel staff at California is the best - very kind, friendly and helpful . I have spent a wonderful Time at this hotel and I recomand it with all my heart.

The owners are magnificent - extremely friendly, they provide a tremendous service at any time of the day in any matter - never seen anything better. And the breakfast is tremendous. If ever I am back in the area, I'll stay there again.

A nice and calm place with small but beautiful place to sit outside and comfortable rooms. The breakfast is delicious but there are mostly sweet things.
The people here are nice but it is hard to communicate if you don't speak italian.
It is located near the beach in a calm area but there are only few restaurants near, so it is good that they offer dinner as well.

Comfortable hotel, excellent quiet location in the area and restaurants within walking distance, free parking nearby, comfortable bed, well furnished room and friendly staff. But the thing that struck me most positively was the breakfast, a truly excellent buffet that catered to all needs, various sweet and savory dishes, excellent freshly made pancakes and the truly exceptional panettone. Negative points: I had a triple room on the ground floor, the shower drain didn't work properly even though I reported it immediately, when I turned on my hairdryer the power went out I had to use the one supplied in the bathroom, and there was a slight moldy smell in the wardrobe

Everything perfect! Beautiful structure, clean, tidy and with a really well-stocked breakfast that exceeded expectations. One of the best ever made, especially when compared to hotels of the same level. Parking available and possibility of using bicycles. Highly recommended!

I have known Tagliata di Cervia since 1971 but have never been to this hotel. It was a short but super super pleasant stay. I recommend this hotel to everyone. The staff is super friendly, courteous and helpful and then you will be amazed by the breakfast which is fabulous and delicious thanks to the skill of the pastry chef Alessandro. Truly super!!! Try it and then you will understand why it is called California Pastry Hotel
