But every once in a while, you find a place that enters your heart — and Hotel Beach Salento is one of those rare places.
We have returned home to Canada, but a part of us is still in Salento, carried by the memories created in this special place and by the extraordinary women who welcomed us not as guests, but as family.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to Annalisa, Daniela, Luana, Mariapia, and Adonella. Each of you left a mark on our stay through your warmth, kindness, patience, and genuine care. Your smiles, your laughter, and the way you truly listened made every day feel safe, relaxed, and full of joy.
One of the most meaningful parts of our stay was being encouraged while I practiced my Italian — never rushed, never corrected with judgment, only met with patience and kindness. These small, human moments are what turned a vacation into a memory we will cherish forever.
The hotel itself is peaceful, welcoming, and just steps from the beach. Being able to walk out and reach the sea within moments — morning or evening — added something truly special to our days. That closeness to the water, combined with the calm atmosphere of the hotel, made it the perfect place to slow down and truly enjoy Salento.
This is not just hospitality — this is heart.

Stayed for the August holidays.
Quiet and clean hotel with an excellent location near the sea.
Friendly and courteous staff, especially Annalisa...
The paid parking service in front of the hotel is also excellent.
Excellent value for money.
The breakfast and the food at their restaurant, L'Ombra del Carrubo, are also good.

I stayed at this hotel with my family the first week of September. The atmosphere was immaculately clean and well-maintained, from the rooms to the common areas. The staff (especially Annalisa and Daniela at reception) were friendly, kind, helpful, and always attentive to our every need from the moment we arrived. We felt right at home... I highly recommend it!

We stayed on a B&B basis with breakfast in a quadruple room. I can't say enough about this hotel. The staff were very friendly; we had the pleasure of meeting Daniela, who was very helpful and professional. Our room was nothing short of phenomenal, on two floors with a TV and air conditioning, a large bathroom, and finally a shower that truly deserves a place, not the hideous curtain you often find in hotels. The fantastic thing is the upstairs terrace, huge with two loungers and a shower, a small table, and a sea view. What surprised me, and should not be underestimated, was the impeccable cleanliness. As a cleanliness fanatic, I clean every hotel as soon as I enter, and here I found it impeccably clean. Not a single speck of dust. Congratulations. The breakfast was simple but very good, both sweet and savory. The free pass they give you for parking in the blue parking spaces was excellent. If we ever come back to the area again, we will definitely choose this hotel. Congratulations, 100% satisfied. Especially for the cleanliness.

Nice hotel with a good location, very close to the sea, with the possibility of choosing between a lido and a free beach. We stayed in August in the first floor room with private terrace / solarium and sea view. However, each room has an external balcony with tables and chairs. The ladies who are dedicated to cleaning are very friendly and attentive both to the daily tidying of the rooms and to the sanitization of the breakfast tables, which is very varied and pleasantly abundant! Congratulations to all the staff and in particular to Annalisa for her great availability!

Considering it is a 3-star hotel ... it deserves full marks from me! The room, 1B, is not 5 star (but we had been advised more we had a discount) having said that I have been in worse rooms than 3 star hotels! We did not really respect the rules, for example we never left the room by 10:00 and we always found it fixed! A special thanks goes to Annalisa and the ladies of the breakfast ... spectacular people who tried to fulfill our every request with a smile! Francesco too ... fantastic person!
N.B. for anyone interested in making the excursion to the caves of Leuca ... go with Stefano, YOU WILL NOT regret it !!!

Small but functional a stone's throw from the sea, extremely helpful and professional staff who always try to meet the needs of guests. Clean and well maintained rooms. Highly recommended.
