Hotel Terminal - Caroli Hotels in Marina di Leuca

We stayed in the historic annex. Great from the outside but old fashioned inside and somewhat cluttered. Interesting building though. Very friendly staff but breakfast was a let down

Nice setting & location Polite staff We visited only for lunch on a rainy day. No olive oil given with the bread. No pepper offered. Food was edible but a bit like school dinners - somewhat underwhelming for a hotel restaurant. I was expecting something more interesting I had orechiette with rib meat. It tasted only of tomatoes. I added a sachet of pepper that i was carrying in my handbag. My partner had escalopes of pork. Nice sauce but it looked very plain (no garnish to make it look pretty). His serving of potatoes and vegetables was luke warm. Despite all of this we ate all of the food exxcept for the bread We were not offered dessert nor coffee at the end of the meal...just "Go to reception to pay" Probably would choose somewhere else to eat next time. The menu and service here need modernising.

For a 4 star hotel it was the worst breakfast I've had in Italy. The fruit was rotten and they were always out of milk for the coffee or hot water in the machine for the tea. The crusty buns weren't fresh and there was only one type of ham and cheese. The eggs were cold and watery. The rooms were beautiful however very loud when other guests were coming and going. You could hear conversation and TV noise from other rooms. The pool was closed and instead of having a nice sitting area for guests to use everything was off limits. I wouldn't stay again.
