Anda Venice Hostel in Mestre

Clean hostel with great vibe and just a walk away from the train and bus station

The environment here is fantastic, and what's even better is how convenient the transportation is. You can walk to the train station in under ten minutes. The front desk is staffed 24/7. There are Chinese restaurants nearby, and the hostel also has a kitchen, so no need to worry about satisfying your Chinese palate.

This hostel is quite large, offering plenty of space for activities, but the signage isn't very clear, and I couldn't find any information detailing the layout of different areas. The bedside lamp in my bunk was broken, and there was no privacy curtain. The kitchen area was very messy, and the cups on the shelves in the cupboards were inexplicably dirty. They don't provide water or coffee, nor do they offer towels or toiletries.

On the positive side, there was a Chinese receptionist who was exceptionally kind and helpful. Also, the view from the room's window was lovely for watching the sunset, and there were plenty of hooks for hanging things. The location in Mestre is quite good.

Hotel location is very near to the Venice Mestre！ surprisingly the room is quiet big. We didn’t take the breakfast, we prepare our own. Free store luggage but BRING YOUR OWN LOCK! Or go outside Chinese store can buy it.

The hostel is very clean and offers mixed-gender rooms. The location is central, right next to the train station, making it perfect for solo travelers.

The room was very clean and spacious, and it was super close to the train station. I also loved that the toilet and shower were separate.

Very good location near the train station and bus stop,few mins walk! Also there is a supermarket and restaurants near the hotel. Quite good design of bed and separate toilets and bathroom! A big window with city view and night view!! Will book again if come back to Venice!

This is by far the hostel with the best facilities I've ever stayed in. It's spacious, new, clean, and tidy, both the individual rooms and the common areas! The kitchen is a bit small, but it has a very large dining area. I also saw quite a few Asian faces around. I stayed in a 7-bed dorm that was split into two sections, four on one side and three on the other, and it wasn't even fully booked. They have a self-service coffee machine and a huge study and internet area.

While the room itself was excellent, one particular roommate I encountered here was the worst I've met on this trip. In hostels, people usually respect sleep schedules, but this person kept the lights on while others were sleeping and used the hairdryer constantly. I guess that might be a downside of having the bathroom inside the room.

Dining was super convenient, especially with many cheap Chinese restaurants nearby. I highly recommend the small canteen; their rice cakes tasted exactly like the ones from Ningbo, absolutely delicious!

Its location is directly opposite the train station, making it very easy to get to Venice's main island. I only stayed for one night, but if you have more time, you could definitely stay longer and explore the smaller islands around Venice.
