We checked in for 2 nights in a Deluxe Double Room, Canal View (Canal Grande) it was very nice pleasant room . Staff are super friendly offering all way to help out all day. room all amenities are available and room is super clean. The only downside in the bathroom that the shower room is very small, although it has a separated bath. I shall suggest they merge both for more convenance. The location is superior and breakfast room makes you feel home.

The room was fine - clean, good a/c, comfortable bedding. The location is very handy - 5 mins from trains, 2 mins to airport bus.

Breakfast is a real let down - no budget but rather formal waiters. We had to pay an additional €15 to have eggs, something not clear when booking! There is a very limited range and the portions are modest.

There is no water in the rooms and nowhere nearby to buy any so bring some!

Overall I wouldn’t stay here again.

The location is good. It's close to the station. You have to cross a bridge. Entering from the back door has fewer steps. No free water. The bathroom drains slowly.

Facilities: The bathroom is very clean and the room is not bad, but the window is single-layer glass and a bit cold.

Environment: Very close to the train station. You can get there by crossing a bridge. It is probably the closest hotel to the train station on the island. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the scenic spots every day. It is not bad.

Service: Asking people to deliver things is very fast

Great location. Service was friendly, helpful and professional. Rooms were great. Highly recommended. Hotels in Venice can be extremely hard to find and private transportation could be expensive, this hotel is walking distance from the train station and the water bus station is directly outside, this is a great home base. Land transportation is directly outside as well.

My flight to Venice was cancelled and I was rerouted to Rome instead. The Hotel Santa Chiara refused to make an exception and charged me full price for one night stay even though it was impossible for me to travel to Venice. I believe an inflexible policy like this is entirely unreasonable and puts the money-making interests of the hotel above customers. I would suggest considering another hotel that may wish to be more considerate to guests when unforeseen circumstances arise.

The staff was amazing!! Lorenzo was a life saver and an asset to your staff, he would be the main reason I would be back. The room was small but very clean. The only issue was the USB ports do not work. That would have been nice to know prior to not having my phone charge all night to wake up to a dead phone.

The location is perfect distance from train station, approximately 5 minute walk. Staff where very friendly. Our room.was spacious and clean. Loved our stay there. Enjoyed sitting in bar watching world go by when we stopped for a refreshment.

Location is good for tourists with a car . You can get the hotel by the car and park in the hotel parking ( 90 Euro per night ) . Room is small , but more or less comfortable . To San Marco is around 30 min walk . NO FREE DRINKING WATER IN THE ROOM !!! Never seen it before . Personal not friendly

Great location. A few minutes from the train station and the bus/taxi station is located directly outside the Hotel. If you're coming on train or bus with several bags, this might be a great Hotel, since you won't have to walk far or pay for water Taxi. My only complaint would be that the water in the tub, while showering, drained very slowly.
