This hotel was the worst experience I've ever had in Italy, and probably anywhere. It was a SCAM and I will address all of the different issues I had during my 2 night stay chronologically, and hopefully people read this and think twice before booking a stay at this questionable hotel.

Firstly, the hotel is advertised as being 4* superior, now the rooms are everything but superior. Everything is super old and outdated, the carpets are nasty, the wallpaper was coming off the walls, and the pillow was lumpy 🥴 At very most it could be considered 2*-3* but that's it. Calling it anything higher than that is a lie. Credit, where credit is due, it was very clean. The balcony was super super tiny, and more or less useless.

Now on to the service. This area left much to be desired. At breakfast the waiters were rude and straight up ignored us for no apparent reason. However things got bad at the beach. Firstly we enter the beach late in the afternoon, it's nearly empty, and no staff around. We claim a few empty chairs, then 30min later, the "beach manager"/"lifeguard" comes over to us and starts yelling at us saying we cannot use those exact chairs we were in, but that we HAVE to move 2m over to the next chairs across, this whole process involves him yelling and being very angry. We then point out to him that we are also paying guests and that it would be nice if he was less rude to us and just asked nicely. We then move and about 5min later our other friend arrives, the "beach manager" then comes back down for the sole purpose of telling our other friend that we are "the problem" (google won't let me use his exact words in this review) for saying to him that he could be a bit nicer to the guests. Shocking service mindset. We then go and order 4 Aperols at the bar, to then a few minutes later have them delivered at the our chairs, nice gesture, we thought we had to get them ourselves and were pleasantly surprised. However. As we pay for the drinks, they try to charge us an additional €20 solely for having walked the 10m(!!!) from the bar to the chairs! There is absolutely no disclaimer whatsoever about this "service fee", a service which we never even asked for! This then ends up with another "friendly" interaction with the "beach manager" guy who doesn't want to let it go when we call him out for trying to scam us. What was supposed to be a nice quiet afternoon at the beach, just never really became relaxing due to the horrible manners of the staff at this hotel.

In conclusion, I would recommend everyone to stay away unless you would like to spend your holiday surrounded by scammers and staff who don't care about the guests
