Trulli Antica Fonte in Alberobello

The trulli is very sweet. The quiet location away from the crowds is a highlight. Parking was an 8minute walk away but okay for the area. I think you pay for the novelty and location, but not the comfort or service. Next time I would spend 30th to more per night and go somewhere that was full service.

Trulli is a unique experience and it was very clean and had some cute decorations

However some negatives that make me think it should be 50euro cheaper per night:
Host takes a day to reply to messages
He told us to check ourselves in and that he would come, we waited two hours but he never showed then only replied the next morning about breakfast
No cleaning during our stay
Pillows lumpy
No toiletries only all in one small sachets (one per day)
Drainage smell if you don’t close the doors
Windows vibrate when cars go past
Breakfast cafe was closed on Mondays so no breakfast that day

We didn’t want to constantly message the host because I saw his feedback on the previous negative reviews. We didn’t want to ruin our stay and just accepted everything.

I expected something more than what we spent. The location in relation to the center is good. It has a private paid parking (€5) where the bottom is full of screws and nails. The trullo is cute but not beautiful. Inside there is a very musty smell. The room on the mezzanine is very hot and has an unpleasant smell. The room on the ground floor was a little better.....but while I was sleeping I found a worm crawling through my pajamas. Cleanliness is that of the minimum wage. Cars and scooters passing on the road that runs alongside it feel as if they were inside the room. Positive note at the "pane e mozza" breakfast bar, very good and well stocked, we also made sandwiches for lunch. Trullo experience done. One night is enough. It may be enough for us for the rest of our lives.
