We stayed in this good hotel for a few days. The front desk staff- LUCIA & Rossalla are very helpful, professional and warm. They answered our questions with patience and were very knowledgable. They made our stay very nice. Location of this hotel is great- everything is within walking distance. Also, the room we had was clean, filled with toiletries and towels. Highly recommended hotel.

The breakfast was appreciated (an excellent selection) and the staff were professional. The bathroom in our room was very new and modern but the bedroom was tired (and we were disappointed with that). Sheets were crisp and comfortable.

First room allocated was very small and faced into an indoor courtyard felt claustrophobic however they did upgrade us to a better room when we highlighted this.

Everyone was so nice and so helpful. We had an issue with our keys but they moved quickly to help us get on with our day while they sorted it out. Breakfast was outstanding… I have nothing but positive things to say!

I don’t know what hotel the other travelers visited but our experience was quite different. If you want a dated musty smelling hotel then this is the one for you. We had to change to a different room on the last night because the AC, which they control, was so hot it was unbearable to sleep not to mention the rock hard pillows. There is no one to greet you as you walk in, the woman behind the reception desk looked up at us, not even a buongiorno.
There are so many better options in Bari, please avoid this hotel.
The only positive I have is the dining room staff who are very hard working and we appreciated the hot cappuccinos at breakfast.

A/C not workink
The air conditioning in the room did not turn on.
I went to the front desk and told them about this when we went out for dinner.
We got back from dinner at 9 PM and after traveling from San Francisco for 15 hours we were exhausted but the air conditioning did not turn on the fan would not work either
The next morning, I mentioned it to the front desk and they said the air conditioning and fan’s working fine I said no it isn’t. Do you wanna go look at it he said no it’s working fine.

Spent 7 nights, room was a bit noisy as it looked onto an internal courtyard. Rooftop bar was supposed to be open but no one was serving. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Good location for short walk to train station or pickup location for excursions.

Very happy with the hotel. Quiet and well maintained. Very good selection for breakfast. Ideally situated just outside the old town and right beside the opera house. Recommended.
