B&B Palazzo del Capitolo - By I Bastioni San Domenico in Gallipoli

Wonderful place, super central location, SUPERB STAFF! From Mrs. Piera who runs the B&B, to the reception staff, and even the breakfast terrace staff. This was our second stay, but it definitely won't be our last!

A historic building converted into a B&B in the heart of Gallipoli's historic center.

The B&B offers excellent services, starting with the covered garage, perfect for parking after a day at the beach. The shuttle service is excellent upon arrival and departure, and is very convenient for luggage, provided by Massimo, a super kind and helpful person.

The breakfast is excellent, both for what they offer and for the very friendly and helpful staff, served on a stunning panoramic terrace in the hotel (also owned by them) just steps from the B&B.

The B&B is wonderfully run by a lady who makes you feel right at home.
She's lovely, kind, and always available to answer any questions. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and tidy, and it's always a pleasure to meet her in the morning for a chat.

The only downside is the rooms, which, while clean and tidy, are a bit dated and very small.
These "flaws," as we were told, are due to technical reasons, as they are unable to make modifications to the historic building.

All in all, a well-managed establishment run by locals with excellent value for money.

There is no WiFi when you are in your room

Very relaxing, calming place. Beds are so comfy. Walls are thick, so not much cell service, strong wifi though. Very quiet. Our room, #7, was enormous, big rain room shower. Breakfast is in the hotel, about 100 meters away. It was consistently fresh and delicious. The best feature is the staff! They are so very nice. We stayed a week, and were impressed with the staff's attention to our wishes.

Best stay in Gallipoli (it's my 3rd). The team from Capitolo (and Hotel il Bastone, who manages and where the buffet breakfast takes place with view to the sea),
give all their heart and attention to make you feel comfortable. Beds are top, comfortable and orthopedic ! (and i am very picky on beds).

The rooms are air conditioned, daily SUPER cleaned. And the architecture is totally charming.

At the reception of il Bastone they helped us for an affordable deal at Bahia Verde with transport and sunbeds. Also helped us recommending "Giorgio NOLLEGGIO" to rent a car for a day (no tricks, no surprises).

Loved it and will come back.
