Dimora Charleston Spa Lecce in Lecce

We spent 5 nights at this B&B in June of this year. Booked it based on the reviews and weren't disappointed. It is located in the converted vill and consists of 10 guests' rooms and the owners quarter. But, according to the owner, Manlio, he ususally books no more than 6 rooms, to keep all guests comfortable. The rooms are huge in size (not only by European standards). They are well furnished, have great AC unit, and even have a jacuzzi tub. The sealings are like 15 feet high, which makes the room feel even bigger. Each room is named after a famous person. Ours was named after Gretta Garbo and had the access to the front balcony, which had a table and chairs to enjoy outside living. The bathroom was well equipped and stocked with all necessities. The breakfast was great and served by the very nice ladies. Shout-out to Roxana, who was always there to cater to our needs. The owner, Manlio, is a great, warm and fuzzy guy, who was always ready to advise us on the dinning options or what to see in Lecce and surrounding area. The location of this Inn can't be beaten - it is right next to one of the gates, leading to the old town with all it's beauty. One of the other important perks was a free parking in the front of the villa. I would greatly recommend this place to anyone for its location, comfort and the great staff and owner, who treated us as a family. Thank you , Manlio for having us in your home.

This was a wonderful place to stay to enjoy our first visit to Lecce. It is very elegant, as well as clean, quiet, well located near the old town and to go out of town, and has large rooms, parking, and a great breakfast. All the people there, including the owner and his wife, are very welcoming and helpful. I wish we had stayed longer.

We came to Lecce with no expectations, but Charleston hotel and the amazing old town with its incredible architecture, will be one of the best experiences we will have after leaving Puglia .

Great location with parking available. Walkable to many restaurants. The breakfast was fantastic and the host very kind, respectful, and adjusts to your schedule.

This B&B is housed in a beautiful villa, just steps from Lecce’s Centro Storico. It’s easily accessible by car, and the private parking is a welcome bonus. The rooms are clean and spacious, though they lack a thoughtful, professional design. The interior is quite basic and doesn’t make full use of the available space and layout. For instance, the private studio apartment we booked had very limited counter space in the bathroom, no mirror in the bedroom, and a kitchenette equipped with only two plates and no additional kitchenware. The two chairs and table on the small semi-indoor terrace were also unusable.

Stunning gem
It is a pleasure they allow this grand home to its guests. Easy and safe parking in the centre of town, a real bonus in Italy. You felt very secure here, close to history filled Leece and great eateries. An excellent stop over. Highly recommend.

Dimora Charleston was quite simply the best B&B we’ve stayed in. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. Although we don’t speak Italian, the lady at check-in was kind and helpful, and it was easy to communicate. She offered us a caffè leccese on arrival, and a gentleman kindly explained it was a local iced coffee with almond milk, served with two delicious homemade jam tarts. As I don’t drink coffee, he brought me a juice instead – a really thoughtful touch. The building is beautiful, full of character, and very well looked after. The lift was a big help with suitcases, and private parking on site was ideal. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was generous and fresh, with homemade cakes and plenty of choice. The lady explained everything and made us feel at home. We also had a lovely chat with an Australian couple, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s in a great location, quiet yet close to everything. We genuinely couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lecce.

Beautiful villa in a perfect location
The villa is beautiful and the owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is IDEAL since it is on the edge of the historic center and you have gated parking in the front drive of the villa. It was so easy to come and go with our car to visit other parts of the region. In the evenings it was just a short five minute walk to get to the historic center of Lecce. The breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to this area.
